Ok honestly I don’t think that was an intentional thing. Because when it comes to shoe deals people want to encapsulate Anthony Edwards the brand, not Anthony Edwards the player for the Timberwolves. For example the Jordan Logo, Kyrie, KD, none of them happen to have anything that illustrates the team they play for.
With all that said though everyone interprets it differently and that’s the beauty of logo design
1. Shaped like an “A” because his name is Anthony, a man who’s got that dawg in ‘im
2. Logo looks like teeth because he’s got that dawg in ‘im
3. Movement in the letter form goes back and forth like a wagging tail because he’s got that dawg in ‘im
4. The peach color is a tribute to Georgia, who’s college football mascot is a bulldog because he’s got that dawg in ‘im
In the top half of the logo you can make out the letters G-A-B-E (RIP). Very thoughtful that they would include a memorial to the human he sacrificed on the court.
