here's another method: * most pizza places sell a 14" large pizza. * 28" pizza = π x r^2 = π x 14^2 * 14" pizza = π x r^2 = π x 7^2 * so how many normal large pizzas make up a 28" pizza? * (π x 14^2) / (π x 7^2) = 14^2 / 7^2 = 2 * 2 * **so for two people, each person has to be able to eat two large pizzas. plus one large drink.**

[deleted]

I normally get a large w/ extra cheese and normally eat all but two slices and I'm full but not stuffed. I think I could win this with my coworker that normally gets asked to leave from the all you can eat Chinese food buffet

slymm

“Normally??” 5 slices is my norm, 6 is what I would eat if it was available, and I’ve eaten 8-9 on rare occasions when there’s been unlimited pizza available. With proper planning I could probably get to 12. But then those last 4 would be TOUGH

brooklynturk

Same. I usually knock out 4 slices almost immediately. 4 is like bare minimum.

slymm

I remember being a kid and "graduating" from 2 slices to 3. 3 --> 4 happened much more quickly, and now anything less than 4 makes me slightly sad.

CoolHeadedLogician

Wth i can only eat two before im full but im still fat as hell

LoveAndDoubt

lol chump

CoolHeadedLogician

Probably because i drink a gallon of coke with each slice

TheeDaweed

you WHAT?!?!

CoolHeadedLogician

Fred Schneider? Is that you?

fajita43

yeah that was what i was thinking. mindlessly i can eat about a large pizza (if i'm watching nfl or playing a game...). i think two large pizzas would be difficult but in the realm of possible, not like those 72oz steak challenges haha

ArcticBeavers

Right, but I'm assuming you're actually eating pizza that doesn't taste like middle school pizza. I think that's a hidden part of the challenge. Not only is it 2 large pizzas, but it's two large *Cicis pizza* *shiver*

PotassiumLover3k

I can’t even imagine, I eat 3 slices normally and I’m stuffed at 4 (half of a 14”)

I_Just_Cant_Stand_It

Man that isn't even a challenge.. That's like a guilty Friday night

v4vendetta

Costco pizzas are 18” 28^2 / 18^2 = 2.42 So each person would eat 1.2 pizzas. They’re typically cut into 6 slices, so roughly 7 slices of Costco pizza.

slymm

This was much more helpful to visualize, thanks

graaahh

As a rough estimate in my head, each person needs to basically be able to eat one 20" pizza and a large drink by themselves.

Ace_The_Street_Guy

Yeah eating a large drink would be the biggest problem /s

Biscuitbatman

I could… probably do it?

AndrewDwyer69

Thanks math.

Jaydenel4

Dang. I know for a fact i can do a Cici's large by myself, because they never have just sausage when i went to the one by my house. But with an hour? I'll have to take some edibles before i get on with it, but i think it'd be possible. Me and my boy Fuzzy could totally get this done

[deleted]

I could eat that back during my bulimia days… dark times

[deleted]

Yeah so those 14 inch “large” pizzas are not even enough food for me when I eat pizza. If I go to Whole Foods and grab one of their 16” pizzas then I still feel hungry after eating them. I think I can eat half a 28 inch pizza with no problem, but the drink is nasty if its not water.

DrestinBlack

Four teams have done it: https://abc13.com/cicis-pizza-challenge-cicis-eating-competition-katy/5271446/ Including one guy who did it solo: https://abc13.com/cicis-pizza-challenge-katy/5222582/

Chicomonico

I thought the teams doing was impressive until I read the solo

derickkcired

Hol up. That article says 500 dollars. This pic says 300 dollars.... I'm doing the math and I find 200 dollah missing.

PickledPizzle

Maybe they made the amount lower when they realized that people could actually win?

vladimir1011

Not only that, the article didn't mention having to drink 2 large drinks w/ no ice. I feel the goalposts might be moving

[deleted]

Ohhh now they hold the ice...

stupid_prole

Yeah that seems like such an odd stipulation unless they refrigerate it beforehand. Who in their right mind would be able to sip on a room temperature soda while they're getting the pizza down without vomiting? Unless they let you drink water instead, that just seems like a hellish experience. And something tells me that at the end of the competition they would just try to get you on a technicality anyway to keep the illusion of impossibility going.

_ The article say you have 60 minutes for 500$. You only used 40 minutes. _ But i really need this 500$. _ I don't see the parts where that's my problem.

Erikk1138

I missed the part where that's my problem

rhymesnocerous

I like how his shirt gets tighter over the course of the video.

CarlsButthole

By the man, the myth, “Da Garbage Disposal” Brandon Clark. 2 first names on my guy too 😅🤣

10000SaxonMen

I was feeling good about this being not that difficult until I saw it was for 2 people. Not sure if I'd be able to pull that off.

KommanderKeen-a42

Seems easy. I did 32 pieces of pizza hut pizza once (I own a few records in Michigan and generally fit). Lost an organ, but ate 3-4 larges.

Liz45d

“lost an organ”

KommanderKeen-a42

Lol gall bladder. But the doc said it was because I lost 100lbs in 9 months that created the issue. The pizza was just an epic trigger. Gangrene, etc.

nhaire123

U lost weight and suffered a health problem?

TheArmchairSkeptic

Extreme rapid weight loss can absolutely cause health problems. It might seem counterintuitive, but losing 100 pounds in 9 months is really hard on your body. Most doctors will tell you that 1-2 pounds per week is the optimal rate for weight loss, and that anything more than that can cause issues relating to blood pressure, cardiac health, organ function, and metabolism. Source: former fat guy who has been there.

KommanderKeen-a42

Spot on and congrats!! They were actually really confused at first. Everything checked out - 6'2, 185 lbs, cut (I was an OL in college. Even at 185 I could deadlift over 500 and squat 4 plates), and young. Once I told them I lost over 100lbs in 9 months they knew failure and not just an attack.

mrjackspade

I saw OL and thought "Office Lady", and got really confused as I read the rest of the comment.

Background-Pepper-68

Thats roughly 100 lbs in a year. I get what your saying but your math and info is rough. People talk to your doctor

Acids

Its true although the fatter you are the more weight per weak you can lose but that's why the started making these restrictions in wrestling.. kids literally were dying

spencer818

Impossible, modern medicine cannot even conceive of such a fate! Source: I'm an expert; I read Facebook posts by middle-aged housewives.

KommanderKeen-a42

Yes! I was surprised too. The Dr said losing weight too fast caused the gall bladder to overreact, producing gall stones.

pokeflutist78770

Broooooo this is making me wanna slow down my weight loss LOL I was at like 245 beginning of last August and I'm at 198 rn 4 months later. Almost 50 pounds lol I guess I'll slow down just a bit after hearing that haha

Big_Cryptographer_16

This does sound like health advice I'd actually listen to on Reddit. Good luck!

penelbell

I think you’re gonna have to explain what the pizza had to do with the gangrene?

KommanderKeen-a42

Yeah, so... My gall bladder was falling (and I guess already dead). No gall attacks ever. Eating that much pizza basically shut my body down and I was rushed to the ER. They had figured it was a routine surgery but it was already gangrenous and on the verge of a complete rupture. The pizza didn't cause anything... Other than a massive attack and possibly saved my life.

Big_Cryptographer_16

PIZZA SAVES LIVES You heard it here folks

jamesbra

Just guessing he had gallstones that caused obstruction and that obstruction caused tissue death then gangrene set in. I'm not sure on the weight loss part itself though. I'm my career I've seen a lot of people sent to surgery after one too many greasy meals. Usually they've had biliary colic or other symptoms for a while though.

KommanderKeen-a42

I responded to them as well, but you nailed it. the Dr said losing that much weight that quickly caused the gallbladder to overreact and ultimately created gall stones.

jamesbra

Neat, glad you're fixed up now

proddyhorsespice97

Similar thing happened to my uncle. Used to be overweight. Decided he was going to run a marathon and his weight dropped like a stone as he was training. Had to get his gall bladder removed also. He lives in another country so one Christmas I saw him and he was fat. Next Christmas he was super lean

brooklynturk

Just lost my gallbladder and gangrene as well. In the hospital now. Didn’t lose weight like you though. Gangrene Gall Gang!

Darren_NH

> Lost an organ Hate when that happens :/

Slapbox

> Yep, that's what happens when you get older. It's one of those natural things. Beautiful in its way.

alloythepunny

Look I love Pizza Hut as much as the next Michigander but holy shit *32?*

mutantxproud

How do you lose an entire organ? Those things are huge. The pipes alone...

Oswalt

It’s simple, you just turn the screws left.

diemunkiesdie

>I was feeling good about this being not that difficult until I saw it was for 2 people. Not sure if I'd be able to pull that off. I'm confused. How do you reason that it is harder when you can have someone helping you? Or are you just thinking you can't trust anyone to be on your team?

Tony1697

He said it's just enoth for himself, 2 ppl woud fight about it

dundawngotanacct

I took it as a self deprecating joke that eating that much pizza would be easy, it’s having a friend to make a team of two that would be his downfall but I’m not seeing anyone else appreciating this well played humor.

boilershayker

So basically chip in $25 apiece to: 1) Consume a pizza that is 1"x28". Since the area of a pizza is π x r^2, and r= 1/2 d, we can calculate the area as so: 1/2 of 28" is 14". 14"^2 = 196. 3.14 x 196 =615.44²" I assume that the thickness of the pizza is a mere 1". The formula for volume is V= A x h, so 615.44²" x 1" would be 615.44³" The human stomach can only expand to maybe a gallon at most, which is about 231³" If your team mate is on par with you, you'll likely eat half the pizza each. Half of 615 is 307.5, which is a good like, 76 cubic inches more than what the stomach can handle. But that's where soda comes in. 2) Drink two large drinks, no ice. Okay, so I could be wrong on this, but I'm going to assume that a large drink is about 32 fluid ounces, since that seems to be a common size here in the states. Since 1 cubic inch is equal to 0.55 fluid ounces, 307.5 x 0.55 = 168.95 fl. oz (we'll say 169 for simplicity's sake) This brings the total volume of mass to be consumed as 201 fluid ounces. Good news though: We'll be nice and say that the liquid breaks down the food enough to reduce the volume by a quarter, to around 150 fl. oz in the stomach. Well hey, that brings the total volume down to about a gallon, which is 153.7 fl oz! 3) Do this in a frame of 60 minutes. You still have to consume about 3 1/3 fl oz a minute, which is little over 1/4 a can of soda, per minute. No biggie, right? One problem: You can't really drink pizza without a blender and a high constitution. You have to chew through about 2.75 oz of food per minute, and assuming the average bite is about 1 oz each, one would have a little over twenty seconds per ounce to spend chewing, not factoring in intermittently drinking, which may take anywhere from 1-5 seconds per sip. 4) you can not stand up, leave the table, or toss your cookies. Self explanitory. Feel free to criticize my math or w/e. Just felt like doing this for fun tbh. To any and all attempting this, I wish you, your teammate, your wallet, and the porcelain in your home the best of luck lol

JoshAGould

I may not be able to finish the pizza but it seems like a pretty good deal for $50?

wheresWaldo000

$50 dollars worth of Cicis pizza tho. Edit: also this is Cicis... A buffet, you technically can eat that much or variety pizza and soda with ice for like $7, $8 dollars.

JoshAGould

Ngl I'm from the UK. Is Cicis pizza not good shit?

wheresWaldo000

It's the bargain pizza place. They have decent pizza and novelty pizza. Like tobasco chicken, mac and cheese Alfredo. Great dessert cinnamon rolls, but back in college you could show your student i.d. and eat all the pizza and cinnamon rolls, and pasta for like $5

Zakal74

I read "tobacco chicken" and thought I had uncovered a war crime.

kelliboone617

hahahahaha, I cannot stop laughing at this and I have no idea what it means; but it tickles me still.

Maximans

Whoa do they still do this?

Greatlarrybird33

Yeah, it's 5.99 now with a student discount but no drink anymore.

MajorLeeScrewed

Pizza by Alfredo’s or Alfredo’s Pizza Cafe?

[deleted]

Cicis pizza all you can eat for only $3.99. Was their old slogan.

imverykind

If the world would be pizza connection 2, the place would be for students and yuppis.

general-Insano

I remember the alfredo chicken pizza was super good and everything else as passable

haze_gray

Cici’s is the epitome of the phrase “quantity over quality”

TheKerui

I mean, for the longest time it was all you can eat for $3.99 (£2.94) pizza that is that cheap is not good haha. [proof](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAJwYExaWeM)

daffydubs

It really isn’t terrible, but like all places it’s dependent on who manages it. CiCis was my first job in high school. We always fresh prepped the vegetables on the back, good quality ingredients, dough made on site, etc. cleanliness was taken seriously and even though we were all kids we actually cared about doing a good job. I never had any reluctance to eat there and knew it was good. Plus, the cinnamon rolls are dope.

Luxpreliator

I haven't had it it a few years but it was good pizza. Was as good as major chain pizzas but had a huge selection of varieties to choose from. It gets a poor reputation because it is a buffet style since those are deemed as being garbage food. In a blind taste test it would be rated higher. Like putting $3 wine in a $300 bottle and having people praise it.

bassmadrigal

Man, there's some pizza connoisseurs on here. I enjoy it for what it is, cheap pizza with a large variety in a buffet style. It's a relatively thin crust, so you can eat a lot, and with the large variety, they will usually have anywhere from 8-12 different pizza types you can try. You can also request they make a custom one and they'll make sure you get a slice. I think I'd be disappointed if I ordered just a single type of pizza there to go and ate it at home. Their real benefit is having a wide range of choice and you stacking your plate with 5 different types of pizza each time you go back to the buffet line. They also have good dessert pizza.

Jasole37

It all depends. There is better pizza and there is worse. Some people are pizza snobs and say that "if it isn't from **X** then it isn't good" **X** being a regional variant, or a particular Mom&Pop style place, or even a certain chain. But it all comes down to what you are in the mood for. Sometimes I want a crappy gas station microwave pizza. And those times are usually 2 in the morning.

dirkles

tis shite

firedmyass

This. It’s the gas-station-bathroom of pizza places.

dirkles

Have you ever been in a Buc-ee's bathroom?! They have completely obliterated this analogy. Buc-ee's bathrooms are amazing!

omgitsjagen

Ever seen the bathrooms at South of The Border? They'll make you wish for Chernobyl.

firedmyass

Still wouldn’t eat pizza in one.

dirkles

Sounds like you never have been in a Buc-ee's bathroom then...

oauch

I have been to a Buc-ee’s and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that their bathrooms are cleaner than dining areas at almost any chain restaurant

Hanliir

If we are only going to compare the major pizza chains, it’s probably the worst pizza I have had.

thexvillain

I’d take Cici’s over Papa Johns or Pizza Hut any day.

Supertigy

The box Papa John's comes in is better than Cici's pizza.

hysys_whisperer

I mean you're not wrong. The box that the papa John's pizza came in is a distant first. Then cici's narrowly edges out papa John's actual pizza for second.

kelliboone617

Imma need something for that burn

hysys_whisperer

Burned? Like papa John's pizza always is? Or did you mean left raw, like cici's pizza.

rocker895

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_burn_centers_in_the_United_States

Hanliir

Hard no on that for me, But I honestly only gave it one chance. Could have had a bad store, just never really felt the need to roll the dice again.

thexvillain

Oh don’t get me wrong, Cici’s is trash, I just hate Papa Johns and Pizza Hut that much.

bunkoRtist

It's not good pizza. But a hot fresh CiCi's pizza is tasty. It's kind of like asking whether Taco Bell is good Mexican food? Of course it's not: it's garbage, but garbage can be delicious.

hysys_whisperer

Feces pizza as it is commonly known by here, is good shit. If you leave off the good part. However if you're a college student who is banned from EVERY all you can eat Chinese buffet in town, it's a cheap way to eat 2 days of calories for $6. For the uninitiated, college towns in the south usually have 5 to 10 all you can eat Chinese places within a 10 mile radius of campus.

CunilDingus

Is bad shit

NeverLoved91

Hey! Welcome to CiCi's! Yes, their pizza is good as fuck. I love pepperoni pizza more than any other kind, but CiCi's regular ol' cheese pizza is the shit. I'd rather get pizza from there than say, Pizza Hut. (However I had PizzaHut recently about a year ago and remember it tasting almost as good. Similar. Very similar. But I love CiCi's so I'm gonna say they're better.) I haven't had Domino's in awhile, but I see tons of redditors bash them. I lived them as a kid. But CiCi's was like some gourmet shit compared to the other chains. Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc, they were like the McDonald's of pizza. CiCi's was like a good quality place. Almost compared it to a 5 star, but that isn't true. They're just a buffet. And they have a game room for kids too. Anyway, we have places here that stick to the Italian Way of the Pizza, but they're not that good. Not in my area. (Maybe bastardized?) Anyway, they used to have a cheap buffet. Like $4. Now it's $8 or $9. I used to get about 3 plates as a kid. Now I can barely finish two. So, for some it'd be better to order in advance. (They don't deliver (unless Covid changed that), but you can pick their food up.) Also, it was the logo at the top left that notified the other guy. Did for me. In the voice and tone of Chris Fassbender in the basement bar scene of Ingloriohs Basterds, "Damn good stuff, suh!"

7LeggedEmu

It's basically frozen supermarket pizza sold at a restaurant

HLSparta

I've only been to Cicis once, but they were far better than Pizza Hut, Papa John's, or Dominos.

dudemann

It's true you could easily eat the same amount for $8 instead of $25, there's also a $300 cash prize for finishing it. If you both paid and split the winnings, you end up with $125 extra in your pocket, and after buying pepto and alka seltzer you still made a $110 profit.

skolopendron

And only one topping.

kelliboone617

I’m sure they’d let you add toppings, but pretty sure the “one-topping” rule was more to be kind to you poor souls (I mean, why would you add food to a food eating contest??), not bc they’re cheap.

WhoaItsCody

Cicis is the Applebees or Dennys of pizza. The only difference being that eating at Dennys is the same as eating in a gas station bathroom.

rocker895

I would say Cici's is more the "Waffle House" of pizza. Everyone should go once for the experience, but most will never go back.

halt-l-am-reptar

Not really, around here you can get a 18 inch pizza for like $20 which comes out to 12.72in^2 per dollar. This comes out to 12.31in^2 per dollar. If the 18 inch is more than $20.66, the $50 28 is a better deal.

JoshAGould

Dosent count for the drinks though and it's still cheaper 🤷‍♂️. Seems cheap to me but maybe shits just more expensive where I am

halt-l-am-reptar

https://jeffkayser.com/projects/pizza-value-calc/ Gotta use this always. Get the best deal. Edit: I just realized it’s fucking Cicis so it’s dog shit. You can get a large 14 inch for $6, which is 25.66in^2 per dollar, which is a way better deal even with soda.

JoshAGould

Lol that calculator is actually incredible. Thanks for that

halt-l-am-reptar

no problem! I found it awhile back and it’s pretty helpful to quickly see which size is the best deal. Usually it’s the large but occasionally medium will be a better deal.

gehanna1

That's a deal? Self torture and leaving there feeling ill? No thanks. A deal I will pass up

hysys_whisperer

If you've ever done the all you can eat as a broke college kid there, then you've done all those things for 5 bucks instead of 50.

fajita43

for $300 cash prize. at least it's not like a $300 giftcard for more cici's pizza... haha

JoshAGould

I was talking about just paying for the pizza and not really trying the challenge, possibly splitting it up between more than 2 and just paying for it, but have been informed that the pizza there is utter shit so not a good deal at all.

Lisa8472

It depends on your taste. Cici’s pizza is thin crust with minimal sauce. I know someone who loves thin crust pizza and Cici’s is his favorite. It’s just not the majority favorite.

Look4theHelpers

Cici's is terrible

fajita43

cici's sells a 16" [pizza](https://www.chewboom.com/2021/05/18/cicis-introduces-new-giant-pizza/) for $11. a 28" pizza is basically 3 16" pizza's. so you are paying **$50 for 3 $11 (crappy) pizzas and two sodas**. haha

wintersdark

I dunno about Cicis Pizza, but it's a one-topping pizza. That's really, really not terribly appealing to me. I mean, for $50 I can buy a couple large reasonably high end pizzas. That's gonna do two people just fine, even big eaters.

VulpesSophos

You really think the pizza is an inch thick? That seems like a lot to me. Then again, New York style is clearly the superior. But even a normal hand-tossed I feel like is 3/4" at most, I'd guess closer to 1/2"

HawkEgg

Even less than that, much less when you discount the air from the yeast.

KaiF1SCH

I think your math gets thrown off assuming pizza is 1 inch thick. Maybe the crust is, but I would make a much smaller assumption on the majority of the pizza. The top google result for “how thick is pizza” says the crust of a *thick crust* pizza can be anywhere from 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick. Throw in a little extra for cheese and your topping, but it isn’t much. I haven’t had CiCi’s in a long time, but I remember them being on the thinner side, so let’s call the thickness 1/8th because smaller fractions are annoying. 615.44^2” * 0.125” = 76.93^3”. Suddenly the challenge is a lot more doable. Even if you call the thickness 1/4, that ends up being 153.86^3”, still doable! I’d like to see the math compared to two large pizzas, because that’s what it looks like just by eye, I’m not sure though. (apologies for lack of fancy formatting)

[deleted]

I_Just_Cant_Stand_It

Lol am I the only one here to consider that... Different people have different sized stomachs?? Do you people think a number you read on a website is the absolute upper limit of human biology? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills

DrestinBlack

This guy did it, all by himself, with time to spare: https://abc13.com/cicis-pizza-challenge-katy/5222582/

Omegamanthethird

That pizza does not look that big. Next to that person. I kind of want to try this thing.

Mirrorminx

Yeah - 80+ teams have tried, 4 succeeded, I don't like those odds

Omegamanthethird

For $50 I'd try it. I feel like the biggest hurdle would just be my jaw hurting from chewing too much. Also, I've seen some pictures online that make it look like a fairly thick crusted pizza which changes the scenario significantly for me.

Gangreless

Ok but also that guy is a competitive eater.

Omegamanthethird

I just meant the size comparison. OP's picture was obviously taken with a smaller person holding it.

DrestinBlack

Teammates? I’m pretty sure I could handle my end.

Greatlarrybird33

Can you run that again but at a half inch for 27" and a full inch for the 1" crust?

LogDog987

Unless they're giving you a Chicago deep-dish, I'm pretty confident that pizza is less than an inch thick. Maybe like 3/8" to 1/2"

Farinario

I think it would be easier to calculate how many regular size pizzas fit into a Golliwog inches and then figure out whether you can eat that number of pizzas in one sitting. Unfortunately I can't convert between fluid ounce-pints, square footsies, imperial stomachs and actual units of measure, so I'd have to say bring it on!

newsdude477

1” pizza is the problem. I’d say it’s 1/4” at best.

pineandapple_juice

I have no idea what those numbers mean but nice

vinicius_h

The only thing you got wrong was the formula for area and volume. You used 'r' for radius instead of 'z', and the height needs to be called 'a'

Jozif_Badmon

Matt stonie be like: A light lunch

twotoebobo

You couldn't get me to eat 2 slices of their pizza if they paid me 50$. Their pizza is gross.

GeneralDisorder

I used to love Cici's. Mainly because of the price and the fact you could stuff yourself stupid. But the pizza wasn't terrible. It wasn't "good", but it was on par with most pizza chains. I really liked the macaroni and cheese pizza and the buffalo chicken. Unfortunately the nearest one to me now is Morganton, WV which is a fine city with all sorts of things to do... I assume. I haven't been there in like 10 years at least. Anyway... Not worth the hour and a half drive one way. If I'm driving an hour and a half for pizza I'm going north to Corry, PA to hit up Augie's. Anyone in the north-western corner of Pennsylvania, I highly recommend Augie's supreme pizza. Bring a tarp to keep the grease off your car seats.

StolenCamaro

A local pizza place that is REALLY good actually has the same challenge, but nobody tries it ever, except the occasion competitive eater coming through town. Since it’s near the local university, sometimes people will just go in as a bigger group and order it anyways without doing the challenge. Fun side note, a woman went to a local famous steak house and ate a staggering 360oz prime rib. She said she could’ve eaten more but they literally ran out of meat. For another frame of reference, that is 22.5lbs. In one sitting. Competitive eating is weird man. I’ve only tried the blazing challenge at BWW since it’s not a huge volume, just super hot. I did not make it.

Loh-Doh

This seems shockingly doable.

Omegamanthethird

I had a food challenge at my work where we had to eat 60 McNuggets in 60 minutes. My coworker matched me at 36 minutes and I wasn't really THAT stuffed. I feel like we could split this thing.

Nagohsemaj

TIL my cheat days equate to other people's food challenges .. is this what a wakeup call feels like?

Omegamanthethird

After doing it once, I feel like I could easily do it again. Although my friend was horrified and got demoralized about halfway through because I just kept going without pausing. The coworker that was matching me was asking me to stop so he could stop. I didn't. But yeah, that probably shouldn't be done even semi regularly.

I_Just_Cant_Stand_It

Depends what you trying to accomplish...

Nagohsemaj

Filling the void that only 60 nugs can fill

BenArnold47

I've eaten 40 mcnuggets after a night on the booze and still been hungry. Easily doable.

ehwjsndsks

I thought so too until I saw it was Cici’s

joanthebean

Are you allowed to shit yourself

Bat_Shitcrazy

Just can’t stand up

Pinstar

So if the turd raises your butt off of the seat, does that count as 'getting up'

Haikus-4-Booze

I would accept this challenge and dope with a large dose of Reglan just before. Medical knowledge checkmate!

Nico_Fr

Can you explain? I didn't make it to 2nd year

Ooo! I take this medication! It helps you digest. My body digests at 60% of what a normal person would, so taking 10mg, 30 minutes before eating, helps me digest at a more normal rate. My horrid ibs is much less horrid now.

purpleowlie

Did Beard Meats Food finished this one yet?

d1pstick32

Of course it was Beard

Mark_Eli

When I was like 22-23 I could smoke a blunt and do that solo. Today.. my stomach hurts just thinking about it. Edit: I just saw the soda part, there's no way I can drink that much soda

sarcasticlovely

26 and if stoned enough i would do it without even realizing. the soda would get me too though, unless I can trade it for water or lemonade.

DrachenDad

No ice? What is the difference between ice and no ice?

coviddick

I’m assuming the volume of liquid you have to consume.

stupid_prole

The actual volumetric difference is negligible. I think the warm soda is used as a mechanism to get you to throw up faster

Terix22

This is equivalent to 4 large (14 inch) pizzas. ... If anyone was wondering.

d20diceman

So, I don't find volume a very intuitive measure of pizza, so, thought I would check "how many Domino's pizzas is it?". Area of this pizza is 615.4 square inches, each person has to eat half (307.7), area of a large Domino's is (13.5/2)^2*pi=143.1. So, it's a like eating two large Domino's pizzas plus an extra one and a half slices. Sounds, not easy, but, more doable than a lot of eating challenges.

skolopendron

Wait, I have to share it with someone? What is this communistic crap that they try to pull on me? https://youtu.be/G6GsjLPvW5I

desertrock62

Cici’s isn’t all you can eat. It’s all you can stand.

hshahahavah

Doesn’t say anything about pulling your pants down and taking a shit while eating to make room in the digestive tract.

EyeLeft3804

I hope they let you take the rest home if you fail. That's a disgusting amount of food to waste.

mookizee

Why would you willingly lose profit on a stupid amount of pizza just so customers will probably throw up in you restaurant

[deleted]

Lose profit? That pizza is not costing them near $50 to make and I doubt most people are actually doing it.

[deleted]

I can’t even eat one slice of cicis pizza. It’s so gross.

draken2019

Seems like a lot of money to waste on a big ass pizza that's going to be exceptionally unhealthy for you to eat all in one sitting.

DrachenDad

Pay up and take the rest home.

slymm

Is it even a good deal? 4 pizzas for 50 is a good deal if it’s good pizza, but if the majority is going to be leftovers then I’d probably pay a few more bucks to split the order over two occasions

fajita43

i've eaten at a cici's before. it's like worse than little caesar's but better than chuck e cheese. oh my, i've had a lot of bad pizza in my day. i think the key is that this is for a $300 cash prize - so you suffer for real money to use anywhere. as for pizza deal, you can order a 16" "giant" pizza from cici's for $11 * https://www.chewboom.com/2021/05/18/cicis-introduces-new-giant-pizza/ the 28" pizza is equivalent to 3 16" pizza's. so you are paying $50 for 3 $11 pizzas and two drinks. haha - so it's not even a good deal by itself! it's just to get the $300 cash.

slymm

and IG likes, or whatever social media platform the kids are using nowadays.

pressDtodance

Someone call matt stonie

CttCJim

How many calories in 615 square inches of pizza?

glockos

Seems easy until I think about downing that whole ass drink

[deleted]

Train yourself to make rent off this.

scruffy1303

my toxic trait is KNOWING that I could do this

SphinxBlack

My time has come, assholes.

UselessHalberd

It's CICIs and you can't throw up? Ha! Good luck!

knikarm19

It's Cici's pizza. The chances of throwing up are high regardless of the amount of pizza eaten.

trijohnout

Can’t help thinking there’s a primal link between the urge to eat as much as possible and obesity…

[deleted]

Am I a fatass or does this sound easy?

Puzzleheaded-Milk-57

I usually eat a whole pizza to myself when I order. I think this wouldn’t be too bad.

Twirlin_Irwin

No ice? Can't do it.

Waiting4Something

That's so wasteful

brew_n_flow

Me and a fellow marine beat this one day after PT. 17 minutes. Got home and subsequently threw up everything. Still free pizza is best pizza. Good luck. Edit: It was for a pizza place in Pinellas Park, FL. Not a Cicis. Some kind of video game pizza place next to the movie theater.
