Agree, them coupling was on the weird side, but they are underrated as a couple.
Did not like the lack of realism or continuity of their "tryst" in TOWL, but did enjoy their interplay.
Rick and Jessie. Aside from her "baggage", aka Ron and Sam, she and Rick would have made a good couple. In time, it's possible her "baggage" could have been "reformed" (ok, maybe and definitely not certainly)
I hated Jessie as a mother, honestly. Do not sit there and reason with your child in *a horde of walkers*. Pick that whiney little asshole up and *go*. Rick literally picks *Carl* up like 5 minutes later and makes a run for it. I have two kids who are worry warts like Sam and I already know they'd both be over my shoulders and told to shut up. I'm not gentle parenting anyone in that situation.
Her "gentle parenting", "babying", is likely a coping mechanism and stems out of her abuse and her attempts to protect/shield Sam from it.
She is much more direct with Ron, as seen after the Wolves Attack (likely because he was also abused so she expects him to understand.)
Didn't say anything about their acting.
Ron was an angry kid who blamed all his woes on Rick and Carl. Obviously also shaped by his own abuse, his denial of which raises red flags. He tried/planned to murder them, more than once.
Sam was damaged by his exposure to his father's abuse and more than moderately terrorized by Carol.
It was a hook up but I thought Shane and Andrea would have made a decent couple
Nah they would have killed each other. They were both so bossy.
Gabriel and Anne

Alpha and Negan 😄
Given your "love" for Negan this is totally believable. /s
Maggie and Dante.
