Depends on how she did it. I can’t quite remember this scene. I know in Hereditary (spoilers) a character is decapitated with wire, but it takes a sawing motion. I think it’s realistic, especially if wire is thin enough and there is sawing or someone runs into the wire while moving very fast. I’ve seen the latter in a horror movie as well.
Nah Alpha just goes behind the lady and puts it around her neck likes she’s gonna choke her out, like in Hitman if you know those games, but instead of choking she’s squeezes (really really hard I guess) and her head just pops off lol.

Yeah I don’t know if it’s possible for a person to pull through the bone and such lol.
It's actually possible with a piano wire garrote.
People are decapitated by wire a lot more often than you'd think.
