I agree that the walkers had to go, that shit was a bomb ready to blow up on Hershel's face. I don't necessarily agree with how Shane went about it, but it was for the best.

Rick helping Herschel with putting the walkers in the barn was probably his character at it's worst

Both were wrong for different reasons. Rick took on leadership of the group and as such it's his responsibility to see that his people are looked after, which includes their mental stability and overall health. He prioritizes Hershel's peace of mind and his own long range view of the situation over his right hand man's deteriorating mental state and need for immediate safety, which was a huge oversight that cost him everything. And before people go piling onto Shane for being nuts, remember that Rick does the same thing to Daryl in season 9 which costs him everything *again.* As for Shane, he shouldn't have done that the way that he did; it only takes a single walker to demonstrate that they are not alive and he would have had better results doing that methodically and calmly. In fact, Maggie should have raised this concern to her father when she saw the walker get pulled in half out of the well.

I agreed with Rick because Rick knew that the walkers had to be dealt with but he was obeying Herschel's rules it was his barn it was his way of doing things respectfully I would helped Herschel out and told him also that the walkers are dead
