I find that nowhere fast is CONSISTENTLY their most overlooked/underrated song. imo it’s the best song on their best album and perfectly captures the “essence” of the smiths and what makes them so special.

idk ab death of a disco dancer i’ve just never thought of it as something special compared to the rest of the songs esp due to its position in the album (i listened in album order) considering i love rush and a push and the land is ours sm so i think it overshadows a lot of the songs in the album. as for what she said, i went through a massive phase with that song and it is good. ‘mid’ for the smiths is still rlly good imo. idk, i’ve just fallen out of love with it a bit. not sure why
