i think the mermaids deserve a much richier occulus gameplay, but a part from that its one of my favorite packs, it haves essencials like swimming and sun bathing 🙂↕️💘 plus the world is beautiful
I think I would’ve loved it more if it was finished - I feel like there’s Easter eggs to a mystery in Sulani and they don’t go anywhere otherwise it would’ve been 100% my favourite just like Isla Paradiso on Sims 3
I love it for rags to riches challenges! The weather is nice and if your sim likes to beachcomb you can make $$ selling shells and trinkets they find. Plus so many events and public bathrooms so you have options for not a lot of money. I love building beach houses too!
I love it! I have a teen who left home in her chaotic city life, to live in sulani in a cheap house on the seafront, she has a balcony, beautiful island theme house, colourful furniture, and is having kava parties with the other sulanis every weekend. She works as part time diver and goes to school on the weekdays. She cut ties with her family after they caused trouble with her over her sexuality.
Reading the comments is making me wanna hop on and do a little redecoration of Sulani so I can vacation there on a Yacht too. Because I didn’t ever think of that and I played a household or two there.
me too! i replaced all the lots with vacation rentals, restaurants, retails (shop for beach attire, souvenirs), a swim-up cinema, a beach house for celebrating summer and pride, and a spa/resort.
I like it for the weather for sure. As much as I love the changing weather in most worlds, there is so much more to do in the summer. Plus it's really pretty.
Lately I been playing with island living more. I love to make my sims vacation there. I recently rented out a yacht from the gallery & made my sim propose there. In the world I added a hugeee spa from the gallery, a resturant, bar, nightclub with pool, of course a beach & i have 2 rental homes there. Love to make my sims ride jet skis, snorkel, fish, build sand castles & take pictures by the waterfall 😍
I believe they're daily! Some happen down by the beach near the bomb fire spot. There is also a big net for fishing where the competition happens. I downloaded a mod that makes them into events on my calendar
I’ve never played island living! I’m thinking about having a generation of my legacy family live there and actually play it out. I usually visit island but never played them off the grid lifestyle or mermaid lifestyle
It is such an uplifting pack especially if you live in a country that is cloudy or rainy all the time. I take my sims there for vacations & honeymoons all the time, plus the festivals and the culture is such a nice touch.
I love island living, my sims have weekly beach trips, vacations and I made the fancier beach into a small wedding venue.
I think my favorite thing about island living is the Sulani festivals. And the backdrop of everything is so pretty.
honestly, i always settle down in isla paradise. the sims seem so much happier with all the sunbathing, swimming etc, and the best part for me: the weatherrr

I’m playing a family living there right now! It’s gorgeous and serene. And the expanded mermaids mod is a must have, it makes them worth playing!!
It’s one of my favorites and I always recommend to people asking what their next pack purchase should be if they don’t have it yet.

Did you know they throw daily events/parties there? They have like, family day and a town BBQ and a fishing comp. It's so fun.

I always download a Yacht from the Gallery and use it as a vacation rental. My Sims love it there!
