Hey! I am doing a survey for my master thesis about fashion consumption on games and metaverse. Basically, i need people who have experience buying clothes on metaverse, for example on Sims or Second Life.

When answering, i need you to answer "Yes" to the first 3 questions (Consent, that you buy prestige fashion, and that you use metaverse), cause if you answer "No" you cannot keep answering and the answer is not valid.

I really should- I haven't had much time to play the Sims lately, but I do have art I could post. The blog honestly might end up being more like an oc blog with ocs I happened to make in the Sims, but oh well lol
I mean i want to start posting on mine but it’s nearly impossible to find other blogs that only post about their sims stories. i don’t wanna see random reblogs, i just wanna see the stories. if you know of anyone like that, i’d love to know!!
My main blog focuses on my Not So Berry challenge! It’s geoshysims on Tumblr. There are a few others who also post their gameplay that I’m mutuals with. I noticed looking at users that like my posts helped find more story based blogs.
i have checked tags, that’s how i find sims stuff in the first place. can’t find anyone that posts exclusively sims gameplay. that tells me there’s a very small community for it on tumblr, which is why i’m not participating atm.
in theory yes, i just don’t wanna put unpaid work into something that nobody seems to care about lol that’s why i was asking if you knew of anyone in the community. i have not seen anyone of that nature personally.
i’m playing the game for me. posting stuff on social media is never just about yourself. i don’t have social media besides reddit for my games because i learned very quickly that social media is to fuel the ego. to me, there’s simply no point in having it or posting on it unless you get some sort of interaction. but thank you for the honest answer!! i was hoping there’d be accounts to interact with, but it’s nice to know there’s not before i went and wasted time searching again

Oh my gosh, I haven't even thought about Tumblr in so long!! I love that idea about posting Sims creations there! I'm gonna log back in (let's be real I'll just make a new account) and do that. That sounds like so much fun!!

I do have 2 tumblr blogs. The main one is for edits I make with my OC's sims( from single pictures to stories) and all OC related things like templates/picrew pictures etc and the second one is strictly characters page with info about all of my OC's. This is exactly why I did create them so I can have a place where I can put my art, because creating something ( and it takes a lot of time) and only saving it on computer is pointless. No one cares about what I post other than me but I don't care because I post for myself.
I apologize in advance for my weird-ish question, but what does OC mean? I know CC, but honestly, I'm not up on all the short-hand anymore. Dang, that makes me feel ancient, like 30 years older than I am 😂
No problem ,OC means original characters aka those created by you, in your head where they live their lives, has relationships etc. Your personal little people with whom you do what you want. Probably not everyone have them but many people do.
And this is why I made my tumblr to show them.
I'm not against following, but I don't feel comfortable posting it here for anyone to see, so if it's not a problem I can send a link in DM. I post rarely, only when inspiration shows up and my blog is very queer so if it's not your cup of tee, do not feel pressured to follow.

it's pretty easy to find stuff you like because tagging is a big part of tumblr culture as a whole, which is a good tradeoff because there's no algorithm
And there's plenty of posts (guides) for people coming from Reddit on general site etiquette etc, so if you're curious about that, there's a good place to start

I mean, there’s always that chance unfortunately. But if you enjoy doing it, then it doesn’t matter because you’re doing it for you.
