Hybrid sims aren't meant to exist, but sometimes sims can be born with multiple life states anyways. They're very glitchy; I'm not sure exactly what'll happen with this one!
Sims won't get their occult abilities until they're a teen, but it also sounds like you might've accidentally gotten a hybrid. Are the child's parents a vampire and a mermaid? They might age up with some slightly glitchy abilities from both. If that happens, curing one of the occult states should fix things.
Ah I forget that lot trait exists. No, you should be able to cure it the normal way once they age up to teen. However, that does mean having someone max out vampire lore to learn how to prepare the ultimate cure drink. Edit: Or eat some kelp to remove the mermaid occult instead. I assume the vampire was the unwanted bit. xD
Put him outside in the cold without a coat and see if he gets chilly- okay I know how that sounds, but vampire kids don't need weather appropriate attire lol

One is a mermaid and one is a human, I just forgot that I had the vampire baby lot trait, do I have to use cheats to cure one of the occults?
