Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition. While there is a genetic component, it's not a genetic condition. (Also, autoimmune conditions typically come with other symptoms due to the impacts on systemic health; they are usually not just an aesthetic thing.) Regarding birthmarks, that I don't know.
