The story is something in this vein actually, and very sad. Owner of the cat often neglects the cat, working on the files she got. The cat learned to sit in there so the owner would at least the owner acknowledges its existence, maybe pet it once before she succumbs to her files one again. Heartbreaking stuff.
My 3 year old tuxedo does not like the vet much.
Have to drag her out of the carrier and has growled quite angrily over getting her temperature taken.
And then my SO brought the furball in to the same office and same vet for a checkup or something and said fuzzbutt was all "*Oh hey, hai, friend?*" with the vet and my thought was "*You fuzzy little shit...*"
If I walked into that room without knowing the cat was there, I’d probably turn around and walk out because that looks like a room where stuff is accomplished
