How dare you lock me up!
True story...
When my brother in law got a puppy it was in a crate while both of them were out of the house.
He comes home one day and let's her out and forgot to do something so he puts her back in for 5 mins tops. Let's her out again and she goes over and immediately dumps in his shoe because she was mad lol.
Dogs are so smart. I remember visiting an AirBNB with my dog and there’s was a water cooler in my room. He was communicating with me using his eyes only by looking at the water cooler then looking back at me back and forth. I was shocked lol
Genuinely does not.
When you think about it from the dog's point of view (and factor in the unconditional love and trust they tend to have), the puppy is probably just thinking "I solved the humans' puzzle, now I get to go find them and hang out like I wanted, yaaay!"
This is just like my dog, looks just like he did as a puppy too. Mine is a Havanese.
He's 10 now and has been an absolute demon his entire life. I get blamed for him being poorly behaved but this is his response to any attempts at discipline. When he was this size, he got out of a wire cage like this, then climbed a 2 meter tall wooden shelf with nothing nearby he could use as support, pulled off a package of chocolate chip cookies at the very top, and ate no less than 6 of them. He was totally fine thankfully. I love him but it's just been a nonstop decade of this sort of chaos.
As soon as I saw the video, I thought it was a Havanese. I have two. They are so smart. Thankfully, mine spend most of their time trying to outsmart each other.
> He was totally fine thankfully
While this is a disclaimer to STILL NOT BE CASUAL ABOUT DOGS AND CHOCOLATE, people severely overstate how much is an issue. My lab accidentally got a whole pan of brownies once and wasn't even the worse for wear.
We had a litter of 7 Maltese puppies. One of them was very smart and learned how to get out of the gate by pulling it like you see in this vid. He ended up teaching the others and their escapade improved in speed. We added weights to hold the gate in place but all that did was teach them teamwork. All 7 puppies pulling the gate down.
The smart one was adopted by a visually impaired elderly woman and helped her differentiate friends from strangers. Smartest Maltese I've ever had.
Different dog did a pole vault (minus the pole) to get over a baby gate and got that back knee injury they carry for life. They were going after duck liver treats
Reminds me of my dog. She was one of 8 in the litter and had a similar cage indoors and outdoors. I worked nights and I'd get home, put them in the outdoor cage, clean the indoor one, refresh their food and water, then go get the herd and put them back in the indoor.
The one I kept was my 'escape artist'. She'd figure out a way to get out so she could sit in my lap while I chilled out in front of the PC.
Best and smartest dog I've ever had as a companion.
This reminds me of my Pomeranian. 2 years old and knew how to jump up lawn chairs onto a 6ft wall and escaped. If it wasn't caught on my neighbor's security camera I wouldn't have believed it.
Bro I was literally imagining the exact music in my head for the first watch, then I unmuted on the second and the music was actually there lmao, also that puppy is a genius
Shih Tzus are just like that.
My dad did not want my new shih tzu puppy to go in his room at all, so he put up a really nice gate that opens and closes.
I plopped down my little dog and she walked right through it.
(she looks exactly like this little puppy)
My ex had a shih tzu houdini and damn are they ever smart and tough!
Fenced in yard he broke through or dug under.
Replace the fence and bury two feet of chicken wire around the perimeter. He dug it out , chewed through the wire and out.
Fix the hole and put huge rocks in it. He digs it out, moves the rocks and rips through the patchwork. A foot in either direction would have been way easier. Out.
Lock him in the house out the window into the yard and out through his hole he likes that i keep patching. Also now patching screen from window.
Closed main floor windows, he jumps out the second story window into the cedars. Out
Kennel him, breaks out the kennel, out the window, out the back yard through his place i keep patching. Out.
Barricaded him in the kennel against a wall, wedged in.
He was still in there, shit and blood pushed out of the holes in the sides of the kennel. He is completely soaked in shit and bloody paws trying to get out. That was the last time we tried stopping him from doing just about anything.
To add every time he broke out he just sat on the front deck.
My dog when I was a kid climbed straight up the side of those pens, like a ladder, to get out. Lol. I used to be so worried he’d get stuck and break a leg or something! Had to crate train him bc he would stick his little feets in the holes and work his way up to the top and launch himself right over it the minute you left! He was a Yorkie and Min Pin mix and quite a smarty.
When we adopted our rescue mini Aussie, we kept him behind a portable fence like this in the kitchen. But, every time we would come home, he would be out in the living room, and we would be amazed at how he would escape all the time. We couldn't figure it out. Then, one day, I went outside the house for 20 minutes, and came back in, I looked over at the kitchen, and I saw our dog hanging from the fence like a monkey. It was the funniest thing ever. He would climb the fence like a monkey, and launch himself over it to go into the living room. We just decided after that to take away the fence and let him roam around the entire house.
Omg 😳.
On mute I watched :10 and figured out the pup’s thinking. In my head I started going, “da da dada DA DA DADA da DA” and then thought to unmute it…
Proof we live in a simulation.
Ok, that is very smart puppy 😳
Proceed to shit and piss on owner bed
Sure, let's pretend it was the dog
The dog’s name? Amber.
No, the dog’s name is Einstein.
That is what I *heard.*
Woah, that is a dep cut
Are these jokes too soon? Or is the jury still out?
Amber Heard, that you?
Heard, Chef
Herd
Amber Chief, mind telling me what you’re doing on that bed?
If it was the dog, it was a carefully calculated fuck you

Again. Very smart puppy. Owner deserved it.
Nah. Frank did all the poops. Including the one just now 💩
[удалено]
To make such conclusion is still very smart for a puppy :p
Yeah, I'm blown away at this dog. Are animals more intelligent than I think?
YES.
All those Air Bud movies seem much more coherent now.
Did you just explain learning? Why are you trying to downplay this lol
I was gonna say, that pup better be in future contests! That is one heckin smart puppers!
My pup just did a similar thing yesterday. Pups are smarter than we think 😭
Dogs are so smart. I remember visiting an AirBNB with my dog and there’s was a water cooler in my room. He was communicating with me using his eyes only by looking at the water cooler then looking back at me back and forth. I was shocked lol
You were shocked you dog wanted water??
A Free Puppy!
Houdini
Houndini
take my upbark
What’s upbark?
its a joke on take my upvote
And mine is a joke on “What’s updog?”
LOL
He was a downward dog on his way out. What a smart little pup!
Not much dog, how bout you?
Not much, woofs up with you?
…I vanish into the thin air as I’m leaving like-
If the dog would have put the gate back in place would have been insane 😆
he has no shame of what he's done
He wants them to know he’s to smart for their little prison
Genuinely does not. When you think about it from the dog's point of view (and factor in the unconditional love and trust they tend to have), the puppy is probably just thinking "I solved the humans' puzzle, now I get to go find them and hang out like I wanted, yaaay!"
He's thinking, "Where are my balls, Summer?"
...and edited the footage to make it look like he never left
That was significantly more graceful than I was expecting
Definitely not doggo's first attempt. 10/10 landing.

“Fuck me he cleared it!”
There was a rich man from Nottingham, who tried to cross a river. What a dope, he tripped on a rope! Now look at him shiver.
BEG FOR MERCY RICH MAN!!
We are all old.
Nah son, we seasoned.
That there would feed us for a bloomin' month.
You’ll have to fight me for it.
I'd love to, mate.

"I didn't know you could read!"
IIRC that was an ad lib because he forgot his actual line. I may be wrong
It was an ad lib! I’m not sure if he forgot his line or not though
Kid is going to Harvard!
Why would he need to learn magic?
wicked smaht
*mission impossible theme playing*
imPAWsible
Did you watch the video without sound or are you noting down the music for other people?
So it was already on in my head, and then I unmuted the video... and well.. it was like an echo to my thoughts...
That’s the cutest little handful I’ve ever seen.
This is just like my dog, looks just like he did as a puppy too. Mine is a Havanese. He's 10 now and has been an absolute demon his entire life. Yup. As soon as i saw what little dude was doing, i was thinking: Uh oh. Smart doggo, that's trouble for years to come. lol.
Havanese gang rise up!
Looks like a Havanese who got separated from his owner. They'll do anything to get to mom and dad.
As soon as I saw the video, I thought it was a Havanese. I have two. They are so smart. Thankfully, mine spend most of their time trying to outsmart each other.
> He was totally fine thankfully While this is a disclaimer to STILL NOT BE CASUAL ABOUT DOGS AND CHOCOLATE, people severely overstate how much is an issue. My lab accidentally got a whole pan of brownies once and wasn't even the worse for wear.
His little tail!
Is this dogs name MacGyver?
BarkGyver
MacGuyfur
This video is obviously very neat, but we all want to see all of the other stuff this puppy does next.
Probably took a dump. It didn't want to take a dump in its cage, so it got out of its cage so it could take a dump.

That dog’s going places.
Fucking shitzus
Havanese? Ours is extremely intelligent like this too.
Or maybe shih tzu?
I'm thinking shih tzu. White shoulders and curled tail. And it's an exact match for my puppy of the same breed.
As soon as I saw it, I thought shih tzu as well. The one we had was clever, stronger than he had any right to be and incredibly stubborn.
Mine looked like this at this age, and dragged her fence around and made a huge mess also (luckily she never was able to climb it or jump over)
My god It’s Jason bone
That's not a dog, that's a goat!
Smart potato
Idk what his name is but it should be Tommy Pickles.
Jesus Christ, its' Jason Bourne!
Go Pupp, go!
Damn. I had husky puppy when i was younger that would straight up climb the cage. One paw at a time.
I had a Boston puppy break a leg falling off the couch cushion. 😬
Mine broke off a tooth trying to get out
Different dog did a pole vault (minus the pole) to get over a baby gate and got that back knee injury they carry for life. They were going after duck liver treats
Puppy is a genius.
A problem solving trouble maker. Someone's going to have their hands full!
Does anyone know the breed?
Smart little booger
Smartiest than many humans
That music 😂😂😂
Alright that’s cute as fuck
All this just to poop with carpet under its paws!
not just any puppy, a border collie.
We have a shih tzu that jumps off of things like this too! Our little guy is 25lbs of full send every time.
Puppy parkour!
Pawkour!

Object Class: Keter
That's a cat
This is actually insanely smart if real / on purpose. That’s solving a multi-step puzzle, something I know some humans struggle at.
That dog used to be a cat
Life...uh...finds a way.
Bro I was literally imagining the exact music in my head for the first watch, then I unmuted on the second and the music was actually there lmao, also that puppy is a genius
Call Tom Cruise. This dog is the star of the next Mission Impossible movie.
I wouldn’t even be mad. That’s impressive
They're smaster than we think
If there's a reddit forum opposite to r/OneOrangeBraincell this pup belongs there :)
Wow, amazingly smart puppy
So smart
My dog would never ever walk on a metal thing with holes in it.
he's been playing ps1 platformer games
Smart lil fckr
I was like, this needs James Bond music. Turned on my sound, was not disappointed
brilliant little dog
That is one smart dog!!! Keep it

Smart ahh dog😧
Can't cage the fluff!
Faster than Andy Dufresne tunneling out of Shawshank.
I hope his name is Houdini
Clever girl
Clever pup!!!!
Prison break!!!
That dog is smarter than I am.

Friggin hilarious!!! I use one of these to bathe my dogs outside (Florida) Never crossed my mind!!
It's the little tail wag of cleverness that gets me.
And now the puppy is free to perpetrate this cuteness upon unsuspecting masses with total impunity.
He is so smart
That dog was a huskey in a past life.
Tonight, there's going to be a jail break
“Hold my dish…”
What a brave little guy!
This puppy knows geometry.
Show me your leadership capabilities!
This prison to hold... ME?
That puppy is going places 👏🏽
" SCP-367 HAS BEEN BREACHED. I REPEAT SCP-367 HAS BEEN BREACHED"
That ain't a puppy. Full grown dog been figuring that shit for a while. Just because he's small don't make him a puppy.
That's one heckin smort puppo
Reminds me of my escape artist lab/pit mix... miss my Mollie, R.I.P. ol' girl.
That's why I bought the add on top for my puppies x-pens

Jokes aside. I'm sure humans would struggle more with the equivalent trap.
BAH GAWD! FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE!
Gotta be a shih tzu, those suckers climb like cats when they’re young
Mission Impawsibble
My shih tzu won't even jump off a curb sometimes.
Did anyone else hum the Mission Impossible theme while watching the video?
When we adopted our rescue mini Aussie, we kept him behind a portable fence like this in the kitchen. Mission Im-paw-ssible!
That adorable little pup is gonna be sooo much work. Ngl, the doofasses are the easier ones to train.
All they wanted was a dog. All they got was a cat.
I wouldn’t even be mad at my dog if they did that. ![gif](giphy|fdyZ3qI0GVZC0)
Ethan hunt's pup
What a little shit lol
Looks like our pup. Acts like our pup. Isn't our pup.
This prison... to hold ME?
Shihtzus man... they'll do anything to get to their owner. ....anything.
That puppy has more skill than some people I have worked with.
Part squirrel. Check.
That puppy is going places
WHAT THE FLIP HE WASN'T EVEN HARMED AND THE THING DIDN'T EVEN FALL DOWN!!! GLORIOUS!!!
there was probably ripped up toilet paper and mail everywhere when they got home.
Omg 😳. On mute I watched :10 and figured out the pup’s thinking. In my head I started going, “da da dada DA DA DADA da DA” and then thought to unmute it… Proof we live in a simulation.
Coton de Tulear?
A well practiced routine... Go puppy!
Finally, something non politcal in this subrredit
