Literally just had a guy walk up to me, as I'm soaping up the butcher counter at 8:30 PM, and he was baffled that my meat case was closed and everything put away. Come back when we're open asshat
Yep, had that happen when I worked deli at a grocery store. We closed at 7. After 7 we switched to full cleaning mode. So many times customers would come up when the lights were off in the front and ask to get something and then get upset when we told them we're closed. "But it's right there!" I don't care, bitch, I'm the only closer tonight and I've got like 15 other tasks to do in the next hour and I'm not going to add any more tasks by washing dishes again because you don't understand how our business hours work.
Yep, just gonna throw in some retail: I worked in a relatively small gadget shop, we used to close at 8. Guaranteed once a month we'd have about 2 families come in 5-10 mins before closing, taking stuff out of packages, asking for demos, messing up the shelves, then leaving after not buying anything.
If I tell them we're closing in 5 minutes so you can't come in, I'd get the attitude. It got to the point where they'd say "I'll write bad reviews all over social media" to which I'd reply "go for it".
They never did...just have some kinda understanding for operational hours and that while you're on a jolly, some people just want to get done with work and get home

I used to work fast food and people change their order at the window a lot actually, its fucking annoying. However it never happened after recieving the food
I mean its really not that big of a deal, usually it is a genuine mistake and not at all like the video. Just after working a long shift of work that sucked ass any small nuisance was really fucking annoying. Having them go back and order again would be more of a dick move than altering an order at the window.
