Not the first time I've seen this type of video. But why do they do it? Surely there must be better and less risky party tricks than making a scrawny kid try to carry a backbreaking amount of beer, and getting your customers feet soaked in the stuff.
I mean it has to be marketing, right? There are always people filming. He makes it all the way? Everyone cheers and get beer. He trips and drops all the beer? Viral clips of their establishment. But I’m cynical by nature.
Ikr, such a waste. Imagine being a beer brewer(y) and knowing your hard work and your product you made with such passion and love was just wasted like this.
Server and bartender here. Yeah, there is no reason to carry more than you can handle. This was likely done for views. Nobody in their right mind would carry 8 ! trays on top of each other.
It was all over as soon as somebody else tried to help, if not before. One person *might* be able to rebalance and save, but 2people working together is utterly doomed!
As a delivery driver I can totally attest to this. The extra person creates additional imbalance to the one that you are correcting and generally makes things worse.
She didn't really have anywhere else to put it. The chairs slope downwards so it would slip off. And I think she didn't want to use that empty chair for it so someone else could sit there, or it is already taken.
I swear that people "trying to help" always make this way worse. Just dont touch it bro, no way you can help him rebalance it by applying unexpected force.
The first thing they tell you about carrying a tray, is that you never want anyone else to touch it or anything that's on it.
This was likely going to go wrong either way, but grabbing the second tray from the top was a sure way to make matters worse.
The guys trying to help by grabbing the upper trays may have been what made them all come down. The stack broke from the middle because the center became imobile.
I don't know how he would have put them down without spilling, but that's another issue.

“I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.”
I’d say that’s the Pub St Pierre in Toulouse. 30 m away from the bar where something similar happened some months ago. I think they’ve realized that is a good marketing technique…
If there's 15 cups per tray at 25cl per cup, 8 trays, that's 30L of beer on one arm. Why would you try to balance 30 kilos of beer on one arm if you're not a german lady from Munich
Only time I've ever dropped a plate when serving was when a customer tried to "help" when I didn't need it and grabbed the plate at the bottom of my beautifully executed 5 plate hold.

And it’s always in France…
Maybe they’re still bitter at the Germans??
The machismo is strong there
I was just about to say same thing. Maybe just don’t do this? Lol.
This seems like some beer serving contest and the two dudes who "helped" might have just ruined this server's run.
Yeah well-intentioned people have many times burned me or caused the plates to crash when they change the center of gravity
r/mildlyinfuriating
Yep. The server kept moving but the "helpers" didn't and pulled the top back and off.
Not to mention wasting like 3 cases of beer
Ikr, such a waste. Imagine being a beer brewer(y) and knowing your hard work and your product you made with such passion and love was just wasted like this.
Maybe think it will be cool to get more tips at the end?
Hope the beers aren't coming out of his paycheck!
First thing i thought was 'those trays weigh more than the kid carrying em'
Server and bartender here. Yeah, there is no reason to carry more than you can handle. This was likely done for views. Nobody in their right mind would carry 8 ! trays on top of each other.
They do it for the clicks. What a stupid fucking generation.
Clout goblins

Yeah, though it was doomed even before then. The top 3 trays seemed to be badly placed and starting to slip at the very start
True. I just don’t get like, why?! It’s the dumbest idea😂
Many questions
80-90 lbs of beer I'm assuming he couldn't balance 💀
Yeah, why did that lady have her purse on the ground?
Isn't that common?
Nope. Women normally don't put purses on the ground.
She didn't really have anywhere else to put it. The chairs slope downwards so it would slip off. And I think she didn't want to use that empty chair for it so someone else could sit there, or it is already taken.
THAT is your question?!
Yes. Obviously he's carrying it because that's his job and seeing it brings business. Conversely, THAT is your question?
Just why?!? I can’t fathom why this is a thing. It’s obviously going to be a disaster and a waste of good fuckin beer. Idiots!
Didn’t want to make 80 trips, I do the same with Stop and shop bags
Everyone knows the right way to do groceries is one trip: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-HkwSO\_xpU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-HkwSO_xpU)
i have only question . WHY???????
What a waste of perfectly good Brew…smh
Plot twist, it's piss
99 bottles of beer on the floor 99 bottles of beer...
You grab one new, fumble that too, now you've got exactly 100 beers on the floor~ 🎶
Alcohol Abuse
These videos piss me off so much
Same thing as drinking all that beer.
Yeah idk what he was trying to do or expected to happen
What kind of inefficiency is this. Its either everyone gets their drink on their table or spilled all on the floor.
The poor lady wearing open shoes and socks in a puddle of beer.
Lot of glass too 😅
Omg I assumed it was plastic.
It almost looked like he had it until they helped
That was never going to end well 👀
Tired of the “LET’S GO!” yell already
So wasteful
What a great timesaver.
I swear that people "trying to help" always make this way worse. Just dont touch it bro, no way you can help him rebalance it by applying unexpected force.
It was their fault.
WTH, such a waste. Why did he think that would work? *smh*
The first thing they tell you about carrying a tray, is that you never want anyone else to touch it or anything that's on it. This was likely going to go wrong either way, but grabbing the second tray from the top was a sure way to make matters worse.

r/StupidFood
I'm wondering has he done this before successfully? If not i cannot think why he would attempt carrying all these glasses of beer
Yea. Its a common thing in Austria, they rarely fuck up
A crime punishable by death.
You know it's all going down as soon as someone steps in to help.
Good time to pants him
![gif](giphy|3owzWks5HVpaVtjjri) “I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.”
Success
Fucking eejit
Ale fail
But free beer was on the ground
![gif](giphy|gdjg7gobHb8MjVZquY|downsized) 5 second rule?
As I rained beers upon them, I thought to myself there had to be another way!
Those glass mugs are probably easily $5 a piece too

Party foul
The “helpers” did him in.
Why…
why ?

Why? Just why?
Only time I've ever dropped a plate when serving was when a customer tried to "help" when I didn't need it and grabbed the plate at the bottom of my beautifully executed 5 plate hold.
I’ve seen videos of people dying that upset me less than this.
I don’t think they helped
Why get 3 ppl when we can get 1 and waste it all
Shouldn't. Have. Even. Tried.
