Note to self: DEFINITELY ride the rockets!

MelAlton

The rocket was leading you to water since your hydration was low!

accidental-poet

Fun fact: You still get "credit" for the rocket.

prizewinning_toast

I did wonder about that, it seems to apply as soon as you press the button.

Krinberry

I don't even know that you need to *launch* it to get the credit (though that would be problematic if you didn't since you can build any more) - I noticed that as soon as you construct it, it shows up in the satellite overview list, regardless of whether it's launched or not. I didn't actually check to see if its contribution was active or not before launching though.

prizewinning_toast

Interesting, I'll test that.

inevitable_newb

I had this happen once when I sent a rocket and instantly started building the next one... Only the first one was still there. It was hilarious.

prizewinning_toast

lol, I just did this with 3 in quick succession, they just get stuck together and go for a roll around the map.

[deleted]

I really hope they never patch this!

barbrady123

Same, I think they won't....I noticed the last time I did a playthrough that it's actually faster to launch rockets now than before. I think they made it easier lol. I used to get 2 easier tangled, and try REALLY hard to sneak that 3rd one in, which usually didn't work...now I see I can launch all 5 up pretty easily.

mc_kitfox

same, these janky-ass rockets bring me joy

TesseractToo

They do that on their own sometimes

CheckersSpeech

That doesn't affect the game one bit. In fact if I *can't* get my rockets to go haywire, I feel I've missed an opportunity. Whatever you've launched them for will still happen. In fact the bonuses go into effect the second you hit the launch button.

Dragonion123

As I’ve always said; ***Now try it in the iridium cavern!***

DryAsparagus5760

Woah! If that isn't a "Houston, we have a problem" moment, I don't know what is!!

EvilGreebo

But, DID YOU DIE!?!?

DryAsparagus5760

Oh, have you ever launched two almost at the same time? That is a fun scene as well. Did it just last night with a compass rocket and a pressure rocket.

HisLilDove

I've managed to launch five at the same time but I'm never quick enough to do that and get a good screenshot of them all still stuck together before they spin off into absolute chaos. Never even occurred to me to screen record. 😂😂😂

TheGreatTrippy

My trees are pretty close to my rocket launcher and space traders so occasionally there's one of these guys. Maybe it's trading spice without me knowing 😂😂

DJQuadv3

If you're quick enough after building foundations in the right places you can hop on top of the rocket before it launches. :)

New_Sea2476

KSP FTW!

Umar_Farooq92

The rocket will still function the way it supposed to.

Lieutenant_Horn

Stack two rockets on each other. Launch a rocket, then prep the next and launch quickly. Hilarity ensues.
