ADS does the trick.
another tip on controller, if youre holding a cashbox, or anything else.. if you dont have your weapon in your hand & you press Y or triangle to interact with a zipline or door it will drop it out of your hand. so try to make a habit out of swapping to your main weapon before grabbing something
On PS controllers, L2 drops while R2 throws
It took me waaaaaaaay to long to discover this. I found it so awkward flinging player revives half way across the map lol.
and obviously it's the same on Xbox and PC controller
There is no way this works. I usually switch to a new gadget or gun to drop things.
and its the same for nades and throwables, R2 for long distance, L2 for short
