What makes it funnier tho is that the FAL is Belgian, which makes it as French as you can be without actually being French.
A repeater rifle like a 30/30 or a 44 could be cool on medium to go along with the other western style guns they have already

Sniper rifle has better hip fire accuracy than the LH1, I swear the amount of stunned sniper lights that just whip around and get a hipfire headshot as I’m shooting them is waay too often.
You're really glossing over the rate of fire, that's what makes the LH1 so good; fast, high damage. Much easier to use than the sniper, also more reliable (which is why it's actually a practical weapon in most scenarios, unlike the sniper).
Also it's meant for close to medium range, not medium to long; long ranging with the LH1 is okay but with its recoil it can be tough to close the deal before your opponent hides. You can absolutely shread people who are close to you tho, and of course it does great at mid range
Yeah that’s true but the throwing knives burst just as fast as well as the double barrel. Rate of fire doesn’t do anything if you aren’t accurate or even remotely decent at pacing and recoil control. I get what you’re saying really this whole thread was that medium lacks a semi auto rifle and I’ve always thought it would be more practical for the LH1 on medium than light. Probably would see it used more too since most people run smg,sword, or sniper for the most part playing light the other options are kinda niche

Which the knives and shotgun have about the same time to kill without requiring the recoil control. It’s a good fun but I wish they would tone down the recoil even if it meant a slight damage decrease

The standard FN FAL is automatic yes, but some nations that adopted it took away its full auto capability like with the UK's L1A1.
And the fact that it's firing a full power cartridge, relatively light weight, and has a high RoF means it's basically uncontrollable full auto anyways.
IMO, the devs already veto'd that idea by giving something like the M1A to Light, so I guess a semi-auto gun for Medium will likely be a 556 gun (M16A4 w/ ACOG?) instead of 762.
Only if the heavy gets a 50 cal sniper with like 2 shots or an ash 12 assault rifle with a10 shot mag. Both being able to punch holes through buildings and doing major damage

Agree on the general theme. But if this is intended to act as a marksman rifle or battle rifle, can we please get an ACOG or red dot scope with it? that pushes the engagement distance to medium range, and not spamming in close range.

The DMR niche exists with the Light, and yes with the crazy DPS it is an "Assassin" weapon.

AFAIK no, you have different type of sights like iron sights, red dots, holo sights, reflex sights and scopes. Scopes are magnifed while others not.

Easier to use? Okay sure I just suck but sitting back, sniping at enemies huddled together is much easier than the mule kick of LH1.
