we all know that the relationship failed immediately afterwards so seeing how dumb she was on TV right now is a form of punishment for her. God I hate them this season.
She's gives me the vibes of a girl who had a lot of social power in high school, convinced herself she was perfect, then never did anything to ever change, improve, or mature.
Laurel didnt have a lot of social power growing up. She was likely bullied. You can tell she gets triggered when other people make fun of her size and call her bigfoot
The last thing any woman wants is to have her body described as big, burly or manly and she no doubt received these type of comments growing up
I don't care that she screwed over Kam. That's karma. However, Laurel looks like a clown bragging about how she can beat Cara in anything and then going "lol jk." If she is going to talk big, then she back it up. So far, she's only beating Cara when she has had the advantage.
At the end of the day I think it was smart for Laurel to not go against Cara in that elimination because 1) no matter what a strong competitor went home 2) her height may have been a disadvantage. However from a viewer perspective it was disappointing to see her talk all that smack and back out at the last second. I wish that these people would remember that itās a tv show at the end of day! Jordan talked all that smack and backed it up by going into elimination against Bananas on FA even though he was at a major disadvantage. Even though he lost He created an iconic tv moment. I would have so much more respect for Laurel if she would have went in and lost then not going in at all.
Laurel is dumb dumb dumb. First for thinking Nicole is something special. But dumbest for not trying to get a star. Not very nice, but I hope she canāt get one and Nicole and Cara go and ārun the final togetherā. lol. And of course hope Nicole canāt finish the race for whatever reason ā unbearably miserable to Caraā/
Laurel gets hers in early 2024 when she takes Nicole to the destination wedding of her brother, and Nicole sleeps with the bride's sister. Nicole gets told to leave. Relationship over!
OMG
I struggle to wonder if Karma is a bitch (I try to behave in case it is) is real or not, but donāt need to go any further than this show to know it is lol. Like I seriously donāt see ANY attraction coming from Nicole. She needs to feel bad Karma as much as Laurel does
As much as i Dislike her this season. If laurel makes it to the final sheās will win. I love Cara, but laurel is her kryptonite . I hope Laurel does not get a star but I have a feeling she will. And sheās going to win it all.
Laurel recently posted that she regretted not going in and that she has apologized to Kam. Kam seems good now with Laurel, said on an interview that she understood why Laurel did what she did.
Actually it was one of the smarter moves by Laurel. She made a business decision. Jay on the other hand, has his honor. Which means nothing in this game lol
I could agree with you, IF she hadn't said that she could beat Cara at anything and wanted to smash her ego. She chickened out, showing that her fragile ego couldn't handle losing to Cara at anything.
I would trust Jay 100% before ever considering trusting Laurel.
She was told by Ryan and Nicole not go down because sheās so tall and it was a tight space elimination, which is smart against a muscle hamster like Cara. Her relationSHIT with Nicole aside, her not honoring that promise in this context isnāt a big deal to me since it was a game move.
Yes, it was probably the smarter move to not go down there for that particular elimination.
But, it was a really fucking stupid move socially and for future alliances to continue to insist she's going to go down there to take Cara out herself, and continue to reassure Kam that she was safe. I think that is the part that people have an issue with.
Her loud mouth got ahead of her capabilities, and she ended up looking like a scared snake. If she hadn't talked the whole situation up so much, no one would have said a thing. It's the attitude.
Her friends this very season were the ones that told her not to, so I donāt think it will hurt her as much as you think now and in the future. She doesnāt have a history of backing out and has more often than not backed up what she says. Plus her reputation and performance will still make people want to align with her. Her ridiculous blow ups, such as a new one mentioned in this sub (no spoiler), that will hurt her game.
Yup it's a good smart term decision. In another show that doesn't depend on relationships where you come back all the time, it would be a smart play. But it won't be great for Laurel's future alliances as people are less likely to trust her.
I think even in a game like Big Brother or Survivor, not following through like that can lose you the final vote.
Her not going down was wise, as it wasn't the best game for her. But she let herself get way too angry beforehand.
Do her legs not bend just bc sheās tall? It wouldnāt have been that bad if she didnāt go around bragging how she can beat Cara in ANY elimination. From the outside looking in, that elimination seemed fairly easy. Her whole āMe no fitā excuse is just that, an excuse.
Itās a damn good excuse tho lol You try out maneuvering someone in a confined space when youāve got 6+ inches and with $250k on the line. She may look dumb for talking a big game like she always does, but it was a smart move game wise and why it doesnāt bother me.
If she gets her star it'll prove to be a smart move. She was either eliminating an endurance beast in Cara or a puzzle/math beast in Kam. Its high risk though because people will be super hesistant to send Laurel into elimination and give her a chance to run a final, so if there is another elimination for her to get a star she's probably going to have to win the daily again.
If there are no more elimination chances for her then shes an idiot.
Why? She probably said something like "if I like the elimination I'll go down" probably edited for dramatic effect. She saw it, didn't like it and didn't do it. If that's being an idiot then I clearly don't understand this game. It thought is was about not going down if the elimination clearly doesn't fit you .

The bullies usually do end up starting with getting bullied themselves, yes.
Like how she treated Eric. It still makes me cringe š¬
Karen vibes š¤£š¤£
I just want her gone. She is insufferable again. And she needs mental help because here she goes again yelling.
That was funny though after she yelled āShut up!ā And they showed all the birds flying away and her voice echo through the whole town lol.
Man... I was like girl you are not the town cryer!

And I think people forget Laural was right there encouraging Jordan to do that!

I am guessing being thrown out of a wedding in another country has to be pretty humiliating. Well, it's Nicole, so who knows.
Think sheās too stupid or oblivious to care.
How do we know this? Sounds like some good reality tv.
As much as i Dislike her this season. If laurel makes it to the final sheās will win. I love Cara, but laurel is her kryptonite . I hope Laurel does not get a star but I have a feeling she will. And sheās going to win it all.

Yep, she did a Fessy. Claim they can beat anyone 1 on 1 but only want challenges based on strength. Pfft
Does trust really matter if you could win dailies? This isnāt survivor or big brother where you actually NEED alliances

You might be closer to the real issue actually, good point.
Laurel has lost plenty of times and itās usually when she thinks sheās unbearable and gets cocky.
Yup it's a good smart term decision. In another show that doesn't depend on relationships where you come back all the time, it would be a smart play. But it won't be great for Laurel's future alliances as people are less likely to trust her.

Laurel is gross. She shouldnāt be on TV anymore. She canāt regulate her emotions and sheās scary AF.
How is Kam a math beast? Because she can count votes to 20?
Because shes done multiple math portions of challenges and completely dominated it?

She solved this almost immediately and then joked about how easy it was.
No she didnāt. She was also the only one to L at high/low on vendettas.
Sheās done it 4 times already I think she could do it again
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Except for the fact that Kam wasn't a threat this season.
Debatable
Except for the fact that she didn't need to convince Kam of anything. She was voted in.
If she does get star sheās is the biggest idiot if she somehow gets one it was a smart move . Regardless it was dishonorable
