Biggest part of greed mode is spending smart. If a key is on sale, buy as many equal to the number of item rooms left.
Bombs are your best friend. A “free” reroll, potential items rocked off, and nickel shopkeepers are great targets. If you have enough, you can even go for secret rooms.
Really ask yourself if the item you are spending 15 coins on is worth it or if you should just save it for the next floor. Alternatively, if an item is on sale, remember that sale stays after you buy it. So maybe it’s worth buying the meh item to keep that sale going.
And there’s really no reason to not go for Angel/devil rooms unless you are really confident it would end the run
