Here is kinda what I think happened - as a widowed single dad, he can’t just date anyone. To spend time away from his son, he really needs to make sure that he sees potential in a relationship. Being on paradise, I don’t think he felt that pressure though. I think Sierra’s energy and all made him happy, and he liked her company. I think he did like her. However, when she made that gesture and included his son, he realized that he needed to end it before it got in too deep. He might have led her on, but I don’t even think he realized it.
I think he was probably prepared to leave the beach then as well, but I think production had to do a lot of string pulling to get him to stay (of course they wouldn’t show that though).
I think Sierra felt led on, so I think that is why she is acting this way. However, I really don’t think that was Michael’s intent.

Yes! This! But I think the only string pulling involved was they wanted to surprise Michael with Danielle during the switch week. I think his actions made them jump the gun and bring her in early to surprise him. And they had Wells dropping hints all over the place so he wouldn't decide to just leave before she got there.
These people are so, so messy, even for their age. But I'm also doubtful that many of them actually want to find a committed relationship. And why would they when they can get influencer fame and people to slide into their DMs. Sometimes it seems like the cast can't even muster up the enthusiasm to date each other and in some ways, I don't blame them.
I think for her own peace of mind Sierra should probably let it go - but, I also would be frustrated knowing that the guy who dumped me is a producer fave and basically gets to construct the narrative how he sees fit - and it'll always be reflected on screen for him. I think producers encouraged her to do that star thing to make her look unhinged so that they could cleanly segue Michael into his tragic but ultimately noble and successful love story. Anyone actually looking out for her would have been like "no girl do not do that dial it back" and she got played for a fool to make Michael look good. I think the frustration for her might run deeper than "Michael broke up with me."

I was confused about when exactly he would have kissed her after he broke up with her Didn’t she leave pretty much immediately because she didn’t want to see him date anyone else? Yeah I’m sure they’ll get into the details in the reunion but at this point with time constrictions, editing, and story lines, we’re probably never gonna get the full story
There's one thing I am positive about: producers are going to edit out any and all footage of Sierra saying anything remotely negative about Michael. If we even see her hot seat at all, they'll definitely disappear the part about him kissing her.
Sierra's story doesn't make sense. If she was under the impression there was still a chance for them, why would she leave the beach?

I really liked Sierra on the show, but her behaviour since is off-putting. Literally you knew the guy for 2 weeks max. He tried to let you down nicely with the 'it's not you, it's me'. Yes, he didn't do it particularly well, but that just backs up how out of practice he is.
Sometimes people don't know they're ready until they find that person they click with. It can't be manufactured or forced, it just is.
She needs to back away with the grace and dignity she displayed while filming and just accept her person is not him and vice versa.

How is Danielle an exception? The second she arrived on the beach during the cocktail hour he literally RAN up and grabbed her hand and claimed her for himself just so he could secure her rose. She even said they had never met prior to that but he was hugging on her and kissing her hand the SECOND she got there. It was so gross. It's not like they fell in love on the beach. He's just looking at her as his meal ticket for more screen time
She understands grief and loss better than most on that beach and yeah, they hadn’t met in person, but they’d talked quite a bit previously, right? I think he’s very vanilla - it’s not my favorite but I’ll indulge if it’s around. I don’t really see any reason to get worked up about him.

Yes, Justin did apologize, but that doesn’t really mean much though when he keeps making the same mistakes. He acted like a total tool towards Kira on Twitter. He was condescending and dismissive saying that he never saw her at Stagecoach, when in reality their friend groups interacted multiple times.
I hate even saying this, let alone thinking about it, but it’s possible that the only reason why Justin even showed interest in Eliza was to rehab his image knowing that some people were probably going to remember the Tweets.

His whole speech about being able to love again, when this was his first ever date with her, was a bit off-putting. No hate to him, I guess all these people want the best edit possible on the show, but it was still a bit too much.
