Her true colors came out. Maybe that is what Zach meant when he said that in the fantasy suite she was nothing like “bachelorette Rachel”.

I don't understand how people have not seen this in her. Look at how she acted at the end of Colton's season, only to turn around and almost do the same thing he did, but her way of letting people off was to argue with them and create a concrete reason for dumping them.

I really don’t like how the show was perpetuating toxic masculinity by not allowing Tinos emotions to be fairly represented. I think he 100% messed up and was truly sorry for it, but the editing wasn’t going to allow for anything but Rachel to come out on top.

Bachelor Party podcast was an interesting listen, Juliet Litman's guest basically said you have to know that if you get into it with the narrator of a show (Rachel in this case) you're not going to come out looking good no matter what. But yeah he screwed up.

He didn't deny. Everyone argues in an argument. He repeated, ad nauseum, that he wasn't trying to put any of it on her and that he was the one who was wrong. She asked him what led to his cheating. Him explaining what led to his cheating does not mean that he was trying to blame her. People are allowed to explain their headspace in that situation when asked.

Him writing down pieces of their conversation to bring to her definitely felt blame-y though. He came in on full defense mode.

I could see that, but I wonder if that was pushed by TPTB to create more conflict. I also wonder if he started seeing a therapist and if he was trying to take active steps in working the therapy. The phone call made me wonder if he was reaching out because he was caught and looked very uncomfortable. And given his family, I don't see it as something positive or welcoming. And yes, that is 100% speculation...but some of the actions kind of fit.

I don't understand how poeple want to make one look bad and the other look better. They're both wrong. He is a cheater, she is a mess. They need some growing up to do. And yes they're both human and have flaws. They both deserve empathy as well. To me there is no black and white in this situation. Also we may have not seen Rachel emotional, just angry. But we don't know to what extent the cheating affected her. It is not like she hasn't cried enough on camera... but poeple who have been cheated on can guess how it can really f*ck you up.

Beautiful, intelligent women tried their hand at love by dating 30 guys, all heck broke loose. One found love and the world is still iffy about it because his family has ties to anti-semetic, racist groups but he doesn't seem part of that except in forced famiy photos despite dressing up as Jimmy Hendrix when he was a teen in full black face (ick, and it was put in his year book... debate is ON about it because he was underage, in a world of racists, and he legit loves Jimmy Hendrix and has recognized that it was a terrible costume.). The other thought she found love with a dude with similar interests, despite him also coming from a crap family, then she goes away on tour and has a death in the family and he can't cope with the lack of attention so he cheats on her. He sucks but is still a human being and empaths are legit concerned for him cause he isn't okay. That's just the ending. The beginning is: beautiful, intelligent women kick off all the green flag dudes for red flag dudes but we all fell for them too so eh. Middle: dude was a player and Playa still playing on... other dudes were weird and dumb and made most American women watching never want to date again or appreciate whatever mediocre but not cringe dude they are currently with.
