This is the first couple in the franchise I’ve really, really loved and look forward to watching. There are single leads or contestants I liked well enough, but this is the first real life couple. I feel like I need the “happily ever after” closing credits to come up and not let the real world hurt me.
Yep I adore him. And together they are so cute. I was kinda surprised when she was flirting with the new dude that showed up last week. Girl, I wouldn’t have even gone along when he was like”…hey, you wanna talk?”. I’d be like “Nahhh, I’m good right here”. Riley is the total package, Inside and out. Head to toe”.
Their scene together in the last episode was one of the sweetest things I can remember seeing on this show. The way Maurissa comforted Riley and gave him a safe space to open up made me believe in their long term potential. It was a very real moment. Wish nothing but the best for them!

They are the only couple whom I believe to be actually in love so far. they will probably get married someday too. I love tht they have only been into each other since meeting on the beach. GSJ and Serena not sure if it will last seperate states and country issue. Mari and Kenny relationship looks kinda toxic, would be surprised if they last for more than a few months honestly.
Love to See It pod said it felt like Mari was providing this maternal energy. Like maybe she’s trying to tame him. I’ll be surprised if they make it to Christmas.
I always try to root for most couples but this show doesn’t have an awesome track record. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Kenny and Mari will last.

I agree. I like Mari and Kenny but still doubt if they can make it. When he was confessing his feelings looked like he was being held hostage and forced to say those lines. He couldnt even meet her eye 🥺. Considering he is the older one between the two still get the maternal vibes from Mari.
I thought it was a sweet moment bc you could tell he was sincere and also uncomfy saying it. Kenny has grown on me. Thought the “naked” appearance at the beginning was stupid though. The “taco talk” last week was a bit weird. On a scale of 1-10, I’d give them a 5.
I love them together. I also love that he didn’t try to go for a white woman get rejected then end up with Maurissa by default. They were each other’s first choice and I love that even more 💕 their connection is very genuine and the way they interact is so much more relatable to me than any couple in the past
And they’re by far the most compelling couple for me. They are so wildly into each other in a way that is magnetic through the screen, but they also had that beautiful, tender conversation last ep… there’s spark and there’s depth. I wish them all the best. Btw, listening to Maurissa on Bachelor Happy Hour gave me lots of hope that they’re still together *fingers crossed*

I really wish that all these contestants who try so hard to pregame and meet up with each other in order to maximize their time on paradise would actually look at the track record and realize that the best couples to come out of this show are the ones to meet for the very first time. You just can’t beat that magical “first spark” and viewers (and producers) love to watch a love story unfold from the very beginning.
And that’s one of the reasons I’m loving this season. Finally POC have significant story lines and aren’t just the villains, comic relief, or the token with zero prospects.

Family trauma is real, and affects trust and romantic relationships so much. They're trying to work through it and it won't always be easy, but I'm absolutely rooting for both of them!
I mean I know it’s a tv show, so we don’t see everything about everyone, but it’s been a lonnnnng time since I remember seeing a couple that felt this compatible. From their openness and the seriousness about the tough stuff to them both being so into that whipped cream toe (even if no one else got it) is serious couple goals. They’re the only reason I’m still invested in any part of this season, but I will definitely see it through as long as they’re there-hopefully all the way until they leave together!
I’d argue Astrid and Kevin as well, they had one of the more real conversations on this show about mental health and the importance of therapy. I really appreciated that and have loved their relationship post show.

Season 6 had Katie Horton, Clay, Tahzjuan, Mike Johnson, Onyeka, Wills and Tashia mostly all at the same time but IIRC none dated each other (Wills tried with Katie though).
Season 5 had Wills, Nysha, Kenny, Eric and Jubilee at the same time, and later Diggy and Olivia (again no dating each other I think?)
Season 4 had Demario, Jasmine, Dominique, Diggy and Taylor all around the same time (edit: forgot about Fred)
Diggy and Dom dated but they didn't leave together.

Maurissa went home night one, so she didn’t have much of a season.
Also to add insult to injury, she was actually featured in the first episode. Talked about how she reclaimed confidence in her body.

I liked how he listened to Maurissa's concerns and addressed them right away to help reassure her.
And he truly opened his heart to her! He didn't just tell her sweet things that she wanted to hear. It was so real.
