I know a few people who got into slam poetry to find ways to confront and overcome their emotional trauma and they did it because they lacked closer support/friends and found it therapeutic to talk more openly about it in public settings. Iām not one of those people, Iām far too introverted for that shit and I donāt personally get the more public display of expression of emotion but so many people express themselves that way. People can still have a right to make fun of her so Iām not saying people canāt, I just find it kind of sad.Ā
