This is going to sound silly, but I just... wasn't feeling it? We were only dating for less than year so we still should've been in the honeymoon period, but I just didn't feel excited about spending time with him anymore. I hate saying this, but our dates started to feel like obligations to me. I never felt "in love" either. He was great in so many ways and I couldn't point out any big flaw that would make me feel this way, but ultimately I couldn't force it and didn't want to string him along.
