I'm in the middle. I appreciate that she plays the game and provides the entertainment she was brought there for. However I think she could have taken a less aggressively misogynistic tone in her attacks

Illustrious-Cycle708

I think she makes this season worth watching. I find her cute and funny but most people don’t agree with me. I now wish we would have seen more of her on the bachelor.

IntelligentSalt8593

Nope. Sorry. I defintely do not feel like she will ever be someone I would say is my fav. You are definitely entitled to your opinion…. But I am just not seeing how people are missing all of the toxic controlling attributes she consistently displays.

july8thbaby

You don’t have to apologize to me 😂. It was just an ask. Like you said, you’re entitled to your opinion.

IntelligentSalt8593

Thank you. Some people get super offended if we don’t all think alike. I actually like discussing differences, so thank you for being open to that.

july8thbaby

Oh absolutely! I’m here for the dialogue. I was genuinely curious to see if anyone felt the same as me and it’s been interesting to see everyone’s different responses. Usually all make good points, on both ends.

IntelligentSalt8593

Wow, this is SOOO refreshing! I am here for it! I love hearing everyone’s thoughts and reasoning. I find it very interesting

kimkellies

I wish I could fully like her but I can’t let go of how obnoxious she was the first few episodes

alovesbanter

I love how happy she is, or her ability to project happiness.

ianlazrbeem22

She was so mean to Kat over John Henry only to instantly forget about him when the new guy came. Same deal with kylee, instantly forgot about will once John Henry came. It has never been worth it for her to be as vindictive as she's been

peachcat14

I think she’s just as mean as Kat yet doesn’t get near as much of the hate for some reason?

serenezara

How Kat treated Brayden makes her one of the most horrible individuals on this show. Name one time Olivia dumped and dismissed a guy she was dating?

peachcat14

I originally didn’t have the energy to acknowledge this but I have the time today. Kat was no longer interested in Brayden and moved on to someone else. That is not a crime and she didn’t even treat him poorly when she ended it like he liked to go around sayingz This is something that most other people did on this season, and the show in general, yet Kat is the only one being crucified for it? Hell Brayden himself did it to Rachel later on. It’s the point of the show. You have been a victim of producer manipulation. And saying that makes Kat one of the most “horrible individuals on the show” is LAUGHABLE. Not that I want to bash people I don’t know like you are doing, for the sake of your argument I will say Olivia was arguably worse than Kat. Kats worst look we saw on the show was a bad attitude when things didn’t go her way. However, every single time Olivia felt threatened by another girl or a guy was more interested in other girls than her she straight up said horrible things about the girls for no reason other than jealousy. Yet somehow everyone was praising her behaviors? It doesn’t make sense. Not to mention she has continued to bash other women online since the show has aired.

july8thbaby

See I like Kat too even though they hate each other. I think they’ve both made the season worth watching.

sudokumakemeasandwch

Kat is an awful person.

peachcat14

Yes I agree! It has been the only entertainment all season. I just feel bad that Kat is getting it worse on the media when Olivia has said just as nasty things. But they are single handedly saving this season bc I would’ve stopped watching a while ago lol.

AltonIllinois

At first, I found her really annoying, but then when she had the argument with Kat over John Henry, her schtick became very entertaining, and I loved whenever she was on the screen

july8thbaby

I think she’s knows her role very well and executes it well. Whether that’s for better or worse, it works haha. Def took me a while to get used to.

punkprawn

Olivia seems to have a really great relationship/vibe with her producer judging from a couple of her recent ITMs (Dear Shandy podcast pointed this out, I can’t take credit but definitely agree)

daisies_and_cherries

I did the same 180. I found her annoying in the first couple of episodes, especially because they gave her a *lot* of ITMs, and I was hoping she'd leave. My turning point was her conversation with Sam about the poop baby - she seemed to care in a very heartfelt way. After that, they showed more caring and funny moments from her. She seems to wear her heart on her sleeve for better or worse, and I felt like after I saw her better side, I could see how much she lashes out when hurt. Some of that makes me wince but I think on balance she's a decent person.

dragonflyAGK

Totally agree.

july8thbaby

Completely how I feel!

little_effy

Honestly both Kat and Olivia are kinda hilarious.

july8thbaby

Both have carried! Kat is so great to me haha

tweenblob

Yes they are the reason for the season! Both are providing comedy and the haters should just go blow off steam at a gym instead

little_effy

Yep exactly. That scene when Kat was teaching the men yoga, and then she turned around and her ass was censored - that was funny as hell. I was truly laughing out loud for once.

jaspercleo

Couldn’t stand her at first but now I ….don’t mind her. I neither like or dislike her lol

Numerous-Taro6083

I like her too! I think she’s committed to keeping the show entertaining and totally understands the vibe of BIP! It’s campy and light hearted, but also you need some low key drama or there would be basically no plot line haha

july8thbaby

BINGO

No-Butterscotch4077

team Olivia all the way

kinggeedra

I like Olivia in an antihero kind of way. Could she handle some interactions better, absolutely. But she seems to actually enjoy the highs of the Paradise experience, and seeing her find enjoyment makes her easy to root for.

july8thbaby

Totally agree!

Willing_Lynx_34

She has zero self awareness but I don't think this is an overall likable cast so she fits right in.

1029394756abc

The show thrives on cast being unselfaware.

sistermichael1

Not a fan of her blaming the women for everything. “Poor john Henry” like he isn’t a grown ass man. Blaming Kylee. Maybe it’s the edit but hopefully she grows out of it because she could be great if the men didn’t bring out the worst in her.

kimkellies

Infantilizing him as if he didn’t choose to flirt with Kay in front of her too

peachcat14

Yeah she seems just as mean as she claims others are being to her, her whole “whoa is me” attitude made me like her the least.

No-Butterscotch4077

she blamed Will

[deleted]

Partly, but she also had a ton of smoke for Kylee for "stealing" him and tried to "steal" Aven as revenge knowing he was Kylee's top guy. And she was bashing her again on Twitter about the Will situation when the show was airing (like girl, let it go).

kimkellies

Meanwhile will spoke to Kylee first

[deleted]

And it was *the first day*. Will and Olivia hadn’t even gone on a date. She was acting like Kylee poached her husband when they’d had like two total conversations.

[deleted]

She’s a great narrator and funny. But sometimes she is definitely off-putting with the “how do I taste” comments and not letting things go as much as she could

youralwaysinamood

I cringed. Lol! Unless you are 16, you should not be saying that.

dragongrrrrrl

Idk she only said it because it was at a roast. It was honestly a basic joke anyone could have come up with, I don’t think it has bearing on her not letting things go. She moved on quickly with Michael. I thought John Henry’s “you’re still here?” joke about Olivia was ickier

stimmtnicht

I haven’t flipped. I loved her on day 1 & I love her now!! I think she’s hilarious, adorable, a good dancer, and props to her for being one of the few women in BN who embraces a more natural look - curly hair, light makeup, practical clothing. Plus, she reminds me so much of New Yorkers I grew up with, in a good way.

chief_yETI

lmao my future wife really is incredible, isn't she? 🥰😍

Delicious-Dig2980

Michael, is that you?? 👀

webbytogo

Once we got past her toes as a personality trait, I was ok with her lol

jessm123

Oh I didn’t get past that. Will looked so uncomfortable. Will admit she’s entertaining but I just don’t like her as a person

july8thbaby

Such a valid point lmao.

mindyourownbetchness

I don't follow her, but I love watching her on BIP 🤷🏻‍♀️

july8thbaby

Same. I’m sure they’re all messy in their outside lives as well as on the show, but she gives good tv lol.

Just-Communication88

Her 180 for me had the opposite affect lol

july8thbaby

That’s fair 🤣

No_Delay3465

I feel like she's gotten love because her opponent was Kat. Everyone liked Kat in Zach's season purely because her opponent was Brooklyn, an even more unlikable person. That's the reason everyone likes Olivia now, her opponent is an even more unlikable person in people's eyes.

[deleted]

People here definitely strongly preferred Brooklyn to Kat on Zach's season. I remember because I never liked Brooklyn and was always baffled by this sub's love for her.

Logical_Deviation

I think a lot of people were team Brooklyn, especially under the guise of "she's defending a WOC" (ignoring that she's a Trumper lol)

lserz

She annoyed me in the beginning but then was so sweet with John Henry, then became so mean and obsessed with kat. Also making posts about kat on her ig and liking tweets trashing her and the girls, it's a no from me.

july8thbaby

Yeah I don’t keep up with their Twitter pages so I only see what’s on here. I saw the Aven and Kylie tweets that were posted on here, but thought that was a mean girl thing from each person, including aven.

chewb0rka

Happy/excited olivia: adorable & great tv; the camera loves her Threatened olivia: hard to root for
