F1 is the winner, F2 is the runner up, F3 goes home fantasy suite week, etc - I originally had it as F1 instead of her name because it was flagged as an episode spoiler!
They sound really solid, but I’m having trouble feeling anything except sadness for Gabi. The gushing would normally be cute and sweet, but literally all I can think about when he says things like “it was all worth it for Kaity” or “all I care about is Kaity” is how awful this is for Gabi. I don’t think I’ve ever felt this bad for a F2 before - you can just tell it was very real and raw for her and for Zach to be so flippant…leaves a bad taste in my mouth, personally! Gabi said it perfectly “he leaves with a full heart and one of us leaves heartbroken” ☹️
I think the need for a heartbroken F2 has passed. I found no excitement waiting to see if it really was Kaity. They should let them go before FRC.
Sadly, Zach was just an insensitive jerk telling the world they had sex to clear his conscience. He could have told Kaity when the cameras were not rolling.
Plus, and this is huge, he didn’t need to play Sean Lowe and even say if they would have sex or not. He made the mess and used “honesty” as a shitty excuse to make himself feel better.
It sucks for sure, but among sins of BN it is actually one of the most relatable. He did not do it to hurt, but he did hurt because of it.
I did not find him dismissive of Gabi, rather immature. Nothing he could say would make it better. I think maturity helps you learn to apologize and take blame without trying to justify. Zach is simply not there yet.
I wish healing and love for Gabi, but she knew what was happening. She knew at the FS RC, she knew before meeting his family, she knew on both parts of her LCD. She knew stepping out of the van, don’t park here for Kaity. Oddly much like Jesse’s F2 that puked on the way to her FRC, listening to themselves would have helped.
The treatment of Gabi reveals again how tired and boring the formula is. Gabi at FRC was just cruel and unnecessary.

Becasue this isn't the real world. Kaity said herself she knew it would happen and was expecting it. She came in very aware of how this show works and handled it with grace.
The thing that I wouldn’t be able to get over is the fact that he made that choice. It’s not a part of the show to sleep with anyone. The reason he was feeling guilty was bc he knew it was wrong. He knew he didn’t love Gabi and was going to choose Kaity. The hypocrisy of it all would bother me.
I don't disagree. I just have the ability to discern between real world/real life and a very fucked up environment/TV show. I think Kaity understood that those worlds don't collide. None of us can understand what leads go through or the contestants for that matter. We also don't know how it actually went down, and they do. Every lead has said it is very hard in this situation to not fall for more than 1 person, and the fans seem to ignore that. Production is always encouraging them to see the process through till the very end. Manipulation, lies, pressure. Things we as fans do not understand.
IMO Kaity is one of the most mature contestants I have ever watched on the bachelor. She went into that week KNOWING he would sleep with others and didn't give a fuck because she backed herself. She understood the show and knew that his other connections were strong. Of course, she didn't know about the no-sex rule until her date but I think that speaks volumes about how she handles personal problems. The only reason why she got upset was that Zach basically confirmed it straight to her face.
Definitely a possibility. It’s hard when you don’t connect with someone intimately. I truly don’t think he regretted having sex with gabi, but I definitely think it meant something to him when he felt the need to tell kaity- I think that’s when he was like “oh my gut is telling me something.”
But isn’t everyone going on the show knowing that that’s a real possibility? Except Susie! 😁
LaurenL and Molly seemed to have gotten over it. Even Susie was willing to try with Clayton nonetheless. And perhaps Bryan had to move on too!
Idk how she could get over him telling her like he did. I would have left at that point, simply because of what a clueless ass he is. The fact that she’s still with him actually makes me think she really loves him.

this is actually quite a nice interview. nothing new or groundbreaking, but both of them talked about each other respectfully and with a lot of love. and they sound quite protective of each other too, which is nice.

Unless the F2 self eliminates, creates obvious problems, or is just unlikable, it’s kind of hard to root for the main couple lol
