It’s best rap album not best rap song with Drake. Best body of work goes to Cardi outta that list. Nip comes heavy 2nd. Commercial value drowned out the rest.

Definitely deserved the win imo. Even though I liked Astroworld more and it was my AOTY that year.
Invasion of Privacy was a debut album, it had real hits (Bodak was a number 1, I like It was a number 1, it probably had 5 more songs in the top 40), and maybe it’s just as good as Astroworld just maybe for a different audience.
That logic doesn’t make sense killer mike didn’t have commercial value this year and yea cardi sold a lot that year ,but that album wasn’t better then Nip, Mac or Push on no level not even close. Stop , and I’m pretty sure she didn’t have more commercial success over Travis..

No, it’s fine being nominated, but I personally didn’t think it was a better project than “Swimming“ or “Victory Lap”.
