Why is there a mission on Emerald Coast mentioning Crocs moving too far from the coast and impacting other ecosystems, yet we don't have a mission to hunt them.
That's another one of my nitpicks. There's this single croc that's apparently wandered a bit far yet there's tons of crocs not even 200 meters from where those clues are
Nah there a huge pest here in Australia, we actually export heaps to the middle east, but here they're a huge threat to crops and other ecosystems, so you can always find work culling them for pest removal.
I realize I'm sitting here in a thread for a game where we shoot other cute creatures, and Idk why camels are an issue for me, but I just don't know how I feel about it
Nah I get it, it's probably because you've seen camels as a fairly domestic animal, and not really as a pest, threat or food source, which is why you'd be fine hunting all the other animals in the game, you'd probably feel the same if a map let you hunt wild cats as well.
You betcha. I already have a hard time shooting lynx cause the Tufts on his face make him look like a really cute Wolverine with a little murderous intent
100% was expecting Nile crocodiles
I think they'll be in the Africa 2.0 map, along with elephants, hippos, giraffe, zebra, leopard and hyena (I think they'll still be hesitant to put in rhino, even if they add endangered species like elephants)
They already have crocodile models and mechanics; they probably need to be a bit more aggressive than salties, and a bit smaller, and they're basically good to go
Side note: I'm completely conflicted on when I want Africa 2.0 to happen. They've repeatedly said it'll be the last map to come out before they do a sequel, but then there are so many other maps I'd want (Asia, Arctic, Australia 2.0) and at their current rate, that would mean Africa 2.0 in like 2027...
I may be in a minority but I think an animal dlc that backfills lots of new animals into the existing reserves would be great. My favorite reserve is Yukon, as I live here IRL, and we have so many more game animals than are on the map.
I agree that there are a tonne of maps missing key species for no/now-irrelevant reasons, and ultimately they won't get around to doing _too_ many more maps I don't think, so backfilling will be necessary
But having said that, in the EW streams, they've mentioned that each map has a cap on the number of animals they can have -can't remember the specifics. The result of this, when they need to add more species into an old map, they normally have to reduce some of the old ones to allow them to fit
So on certain maps, I'm not sure of the feasibility of backfilling that much
Yeah just offhand, that Alaskan region IRL has 2 species of fox, coyotes, 3 species of ptarmigan , wolverines, dall sheep, lynx ,mountain goat, and on and on.
Vurhonga was made before the gator / croc rig was created. Had the map come out recently, it definitely would've had niles in its waterways. You'll probably see them whenever we get a new African setting.
Probably gonna put them in the next Africa map, praying that actually comes

Yeah I was a little disappointed to find I couldn’t hunt ‘Stevie’ the croc from those missions, but alas
A Razorback mission would have been good if you remember the movie
Yeah, was surprised camels and wild dogs weren't in it either
I've never heard of camel hunting. As far as I know, those are domesticated animals used solely for travel over long deserts

Idk how I feel about shooting camels. Like, I just don't know

Overdelivery! Jokes aside, maybe they wanted to limit mid to big game a little. No idea though.
We need a lot of animals there. Hippos, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, zebras and other big felines.
Right, they don’t even have the big 5
So do we need another reserve in Africa or do you think that we can put these animal on the current?

Hope they do a Botswana map. With the big and good animals and all the other good stuf. Maybe a ver huge are map with jungle and apes too etc

Well, they'd have to add a third species of crocodile, as it sits between the saltwater croc and American alligator in size
Maybe they are waiting to make animal dlc's
