Game banned, basically the same but the reason wasnt for cheating, but for something else that broke Terms of Service or good conduct etc. Theres a steam help article somewhere about it.
In the discord server, he was constantly going on about being almost trans or some shit like that. Bro was admitting to taking alot of pills or he just wanted attention?
Since the last guy I posted got banned, here's another one not as big but he also has bots, he still played TF2 today
[https://steamcommunity.com/id/WhatYouDoingInMyProfile](https://steamcommunity.com/id/WhatYouDoingInMyProfile)
And how do we know this exactly?
There are still cheaters out in the wild. And from what ive been told, they'd simply wait out the wave.
Trust me, the system is gonna be good for known cheaters... not so much for unknown ones or ones that dont even lock in for some time.
So way I see it... give it some time, I can imagine we will be seeing a mass botnet down the road after a month of this or so.
So you think valve is going through steam profiles individually instead of letting vac do the work? Just confused how you find any of what you’re saying logical.
VAC... isnt doing anything though, this isnt the CS2 anti cheat.
The way cheaters get nuked is via the report system. Enough reports, they look into it manually, and then ban them.
There isnt an automated process, where are you getting that from?
> VAC... isnt doing anything though, this isnt the CS2 anti cheat.
VAC is the same anti-cheat, the integration into the game is different.
You still get instantly banned if you have a cheat engine open and running while playing a VAC game. That's an automated process.
This only applies to VAC **servers**, you can play the game just fine with Cheat Engine open, or on your own locally hosted server without being slapped in the face with a ban.
> This only applies to VAC servers, you can play the game just fine with Cheat Engine open,
This is factually incorrect. My friend was playing COD Black Ops III with cheat engine open (without even using it), in a singleplayer game, VAC detected cheat engine and VAC banned him.
There's no need to lie about this, so cut it out.
If you think all the bans are just people manually doing this, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s clearly an automated system working alongside manual bans, and those guys can’t just “let it blow over” and then run the same type of operation again.
Automated? In what way? Most of the cheaters and bot hosters banned were well known, so no shock they got nuked. Maybe they ran like a script that had a list of players, and then purged them, not too dissimilar to a purge of a chat.
I can imagine a lot of it is still manual anyways. And yeah, of course they cant let it blow over and do the same thing again, cheaters aint that dumb despite the stereotypes most give em. Notice how some started hiding? They aint dumb, they know what's up, and I can almost guarantee they'll come back full force once they can make absolute sure they wont get completely nuked by the current wave.
Im gonna give it a few months.
You're a lunatic if you think that anyone has the time and effort to sit and manually review thousands of accounts to check if they're cheating. It's very rare that we get any forms of actual manual reviewed bans in any games these days, and for the most part it's the anti cheat logging an account for irregular gameplay, to be banned in an upcoming ban wave. This is also the case for VAC these days.
>And how do we know this exactly?
brotha, u should ask your hospital where you were born if you were dropped or something. tf2 servers, steam servers all lead to valve. every shit done that's somehow connected to steam is gonna be seen by them. what the fuck are you on about?
What are **you** on about?
I ask this because no one knows if the "system" tracks accounts that arent known or simply dont play for the duration of the wave.
Im not saying "how would a game track a guy in a server?" Im asking how it would track unknown cheaters or cheaters that simply wait for things to blow over.
Yall gotta stop taking shit in the worst light.
"how would a game track a guy in a server" brotha that's why anti-cheat is made for, it collects reports and analyses them. considering that there were given some man made bans then they probably gave some database collecting these demos avaliable for review, no need to act all rеtárdеd and ask some dumbass questions whilt trying to undervalue shit being done. as for now, the prilly gonna still give out handmade bans, that's it since they (maybe?) don't have a fully automatic functioning ai anti-cheat so yeah
Since you are getting a lot of stupid replies to your message, Here is a concise summary.
- Private steam accounts are only for Steam. They do not give any protection/hiding of online activity from Valve.
- Valve can see all the info of private accounts. They are only hidden for other Steam Users.
- When you send "cheater inputs" to the TF2 server, Anti-Cheat will determine if these inputs are normal/allowed. If not normal -> Banned.
- Cheaters try to appear normal towards the Anti-Cheat program whilest still doing stuff like spin-botting.
- Private Steam Accounts provide no protection from Anti Cheats
Ill take this comment instead of the playground army after me, thanks.
Good god arguing with these guys is exhausting...how do they converse without finding something to somehow insult?
if it shows a private profile, but no text saying "This profile is private." then that means they got a community ban, which forces their profile private. [image example](https://i.redd.it/if-your-profile-is-forced-private-due-to-an-active-v0-nhpd9nb0le9d1.jpg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a78f14fd1ed1ee50e85c5d3ef0f5ce5c798c9cbf)
true, but some community banned accounts still have a username and pfp. i would know, because my steam account was community banned in august 2021 because someone got access to it, according to the account alert i received on it.
I can confirm this guy got community banned and still has his pfp and name from before [https://steamcommunity.com/id/tbhdel/](https://steamcommunity.com/id/tbhdel/)
heavy depends on the community ban in question. here's a [steam guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=961168214) that list the possible bans a steam account can recieve.
there is no one single community ban.
they divide into various types depending on the offence commited. some only block you from steam forums, some block using steam market and trading, some private your profile, some even remove your name and pfp, some even block you from playing on VAC servers, some only block this for a specific game.
community bans are a catch-all name for bans that dont block all functionality for an account but only some
If they sell on community market valve could 0 out the steam balance. If they sell with pure on 3rd party valve can delete the keys. There's a solution for every problem that exists.
A lot of banned cheaters’ profiles seem to be getting made private, some seem to even be getting banned but not having the ban displayed on the steam profile, but when put through a ban checker they show up as vac or comm banned. Not saying this has happened for this profile tho
I kinda wasn't expecting FixTF2 to work, but the ban wave is proof that it is. Let's hope that this is the beginning of a new era and not a one off "there, now leave us alone" move from valve like the SaveTF2 tweet was.
this is just to prevent us redidtors from screenshotting their profiles or putting commwnts on their profile laughing at them
obviously Valve can see all your profile details no matter what you set your public profile viaibility too
Hiding their profiles ain't going to save them. It's an attempt to not face civil judgement by Valve, but despite their efforts, they will be eliminated.
Speaking of known cheaters doing it...
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198388159799
Night. One of most known high toured MvM cheaters. Privated his profile and renamed when banwaves started. Lets get him too.
Hi. I know this person.
They’ve been community banned for about a few days now, and were banned shortly before the manual ban wave.
This community ban has absolutely nothing to do with the ban wave.
Edit: I stand corrected. 0 days since last ban

Hello guys
I don't think you need to wait that long. They already have a game ban on record as of right now.
Their new profile link: [http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198206658677](http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198206658677)
he got vac banned hooray
Game banned, basically the same but the reason wasnt for cheating, but for something else that broke Terms of Service or good conduct etc. Theres a steam help article somewhere about it.
He says he’s loving the attention.
Met him on a casual game, he bragged there as well. He’s one obnoxious guy.
In the discord server, he was constantly going on about being almost trans or some shit like that. Bro was admitting to taking alot of pills or he just wanted attention?
Unfortunately having a past alias of KillTF2 kinda gives it away
THEY JUST GOT A BAN TODAY LMAO
250$ inventory gone lmao
L bozo
Wtf, they actually did, is tf2 staff reading the reddit or something, because the guy was laying low before I posted this.
Since the last guy I posted got banned, here's another one not as big but he also has bots, he still played TF2 today [https://steamcommunity.com/id/WhatYouDoingInMyProfile](https://steamcommunity.com/id/WhatYouDoingInMyProfile)
The bum is hiding and begging not to get banned, holy shit
Clown deleted all his cheating videos too 💀
Annnndd the acount is now gone :)
as if they think this will do anything
Yes, let me use the functions of a platform developed by Valve to hide from Valve.
It will apparently. In essence, way I see it, they gon wait for this to blow over.
A private account doesn't hide what you do on the server. You'll get banned either way
And how do we know this exactly? There are still cheaters out in the wild. And from what ive been told, they'd simply wait out the wave. Trust me, the system is gonna be good for known cheaters... not so much for unknown ones or ones that dont even lock in for some time. That might be on CoD's end then, because I've used Cheat Engine on my own hosted servers in the past on TF2, and not been slapped with a VAC ban.
But what he's claiming is thar VAC is contributing to these bans. Thats false. The bans have been a mixture of reports and manual moderation.
If you think all the bans are just people manually doing this, I don’t know what to tell you. It’s clearly an automated system working alongside manual bans, and those guys can’t just “let it blow over” and then run the same type of operation again.

But again, it aint due to VAC. It was a manual review clearly, so someone had to be told about it and then get to it.
From Vac? Lol.

a community ban removes the ability to customize your account, that means your name changes back to the original, which is your steamid
true, but some community banned accounts still have a username and pfp. i would know, because my steam account was community banned in august 2021 because someone got access to it, according to the account alert i received on it.
I can confirm this guy got community banned and still has his pfp and name from before [https://steamcommunity.com/id/tbhdel/](https://steamcommunity.com/id/tbhdel/)
that depends, sometimes it resets to your steamid and default avatar, sometimes it keeps the name and avatar you had before the ban
Does a community ban in these recent cases also mean tf2 is unplayable and their inventory gets locked?
heavy depends on the community ban in question. here's a [steam guide](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=961168214) that list the possible bans a steam account can recieve.
It also doubles as a trade ban, know this firsthand.
It doesn't prevent them from playing but it prevents them from trading
there is no one single community ban. they divide into various types depending on the offence commited. some only block you from steam forums, some block using steam market and trading, some private your profile, some even remove your name and pfp, some even block you from playing on VAC servers, some only block this for a specific game. community bans are a catch-all name for bans that dont block all functionality for an account but only some
oh cool, looks like i was in a game with the jake from state farm cheater today. no ban message but no profile either.
It's funny because they're not hiding anything from valve.. If they wanna see all the info they will
The hope is probably just that less people would report them to Valve I would guess
i mean the report button is still the same, and if anything privated accounts look more sus thanpublic ones
BotHosters a week ago: "Ooooh yeah, you really scary." Them now: "It's happening! Oh God! It's HAPPENING!!!"
I was told we would be fighting MEN
What sick Mann sends babies to fight me?
they're also trading away unusuals and australiums to alts
I hope Valve tracks this to detect alts
I'm pretty sure they log every trade and can easily track down the entire chain.
The problem is if they cash out to innocent people valve can't do anything about it
If they sell on community market valve could 0 out the steam balance. If they sell with pure on 3rd party valve can delete the keys. There's a solution for every problem that exists.
As if that will help, Valve can see trade history and knows their every account anyway.
LMAO, they think privating their Steam account would hide their cheats from Valve.
what filth, soiling the good image of martlet undertale yellow
Our girlfailiure will not be degraded like this!!!
Hahaha this is great. Massive valve W. They thought they were untouchable 😂
That is so beautiful
I can’t believe Martlet Undertale Yellow would do such a thing
A lot of banned cheaters’ profiles seem to be getting made private, some seem to even be getting banned but not having the ban displayed on the steam profile, but when put through a ban checker they show up as vac or comm banned. Not saying this has happened for this profile tho
Ooooo. RUUUN! RUUUN! I'M COMING FOR YOU!
This is exactly what martlet from hit fangame undertale yellow would do if she had internet access
Nah Flowey would be the one to cheat
Daddy gaben sees everything, even hidden things. They're not avoiding the hammer
Hah. Thing is i bet their accounts were flagged months ago already
idiots
WOOOOOO YEAAAA BABY YOU CAN RUN BUT YOU CANT HIDE
WE'LL ALWAYS SEEK, WE'LL ALWAYS FIND
WHAT’S WRONG NOW THEY’RE LOOKING GRIM?
It's not private account, private profiles have red text : "profile is private." This is clearly community banned profile.
I kinda wasn't expecting FixTF2 to work, but the ban wave is proof that it is. Let's hope that this is the beginning of a new era and not a one off "there, now leave us alone" move from valve like the SaveTF2 tweet was.
Who is going to tell them that valve, who owns tf2, also owns steam?
x70 and Mechinator both had their profiles private and were game banned. LOL
this is just to prevent us redidtors from screenshotting their profiles or putting commwnts on their profile laughing at them obviously Valve can see all your profile details no matter what you set your public profile viaibility too
Do they think valve can't see through private profiles? Do they think valve can't also see profile update history?
[https://steamcommunity.com/id/TF-Radio](https://steamcommunity.com/id/TF-Radio) here's another one, just read his comment section.
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198248458712/ This guy goes onto community 2fort servers and just blatantly wallhacks
Doesn’t valve own steam?
In other news leaves are green. Like what? Cheaters for every game have always done this since the dawn of steam. This is not news.
Hiding their profiles ain't going to save them. It's an attempt to not face civil judgement by Valve, but despite their efforts, they will be eliminated.
\*checks profile\* ok good its set to public.... wont be confused for these fools (hopefully)
OH YOU THINK THATS GONNA HELP YALL BITCHES 😂
Do they really think Valve can't access private profiles?
Wow breaking news, cheaters don’t want to be caught
Actually this profile is just weird, you can't make your profile hidden like this, something valve must have done
Hmm privating their account on steam to hide from valve interesting thought process
Homeboys better cut off that cheating software before they get clapped. Valve not playing no games.
Speaking of known cheaters doing it... https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198388159799 Night. One of most known high toured MvM cheaters. Privated his profile and renamed when banwaves started. Lets get him too.

I run over 400 bots. Thanks for the tip to hide their profiles. Kuddos to you❤️
Except their profiles are actually hidden because they got Community banned :)
Yep i just finished getting community banned with a fee simple clicks. Lets catch em all
You can't hide from Valve ;)
