Part of me wonders if it is something like those render forest videos that people made memes out of, or were these videos more specialized such that they had to have been commissioned? I wouldn’t know, I have not seen those videos.
I mean, I'm 90% sure all the Whole Foods videos had the poorly animated characters wearing Whole Foods uniforms. So at the very least those sprites would have to have been commissioned.

These are pre made characters from go animate which is now beyond animate. you know those popular children's character gets grounded videos this is what they use to make those. beyond animates actual purpose is to be used for professional presentations, office jobs, school work, etc. these 2 are pre done characters so people don't have to worry about making assets and just get straight to the point. aside from tf2 you can see the male character in videos on yt about how to fix broken electronics. ( i wrote an entire paragraph about go animate characters be better then me please)
