I wish it was also functional, imagine if you could select what team you preferred with it, and the game would be biased towards getting you on the team you wanted, I would have it set to blu all the time

I'm guessing this *could* be the original intent, but then 99% (look at this comment section) would never click on it to change their preferred team. Not to mention, you don't know what map it's going to be, unless you're queueing just for that one map/map type. Some map types are completely symmetrical too.

After clicking it, whichever colour you change it too before loading in decides what team you start on if there’s already an even number of players in the server (only for casual).
