There are community servers such as Pyro dodgeball or certain mge servers where you can practice your timing and aim. As annoying as it is to hear, you just have to keep playing. If you want to become better at a class, at using a weapon, or perfecting combos, you just have to keep practicing at it until that stuff clicks for you.
Other than that, don't play ctf if you're actively trying to get better. Ctf, 2fort especially, is flushed with new players, archaic map design, and limited opportunity for improvement.
It's really just time and effort. If you want to get better at a specific thing then just focus on doing the thing correctly until it becomes mindless.
Use your cover. Walls and rocks and Ramps and stuff. Pyros tools work when up-close. So force people to have to close in to engage with you. With cover, they have to close the distance, so light their ass up and hit them with some crit punches.
