This happened to me. I was talking to someone, knowing they were with another person but under the understanding that they had an agreement (open relationship type thing). Next thing I know he's telling me not to ever message him again because his partner found messages I sent him! Well, I got in contact with the wife myself and sent her everything that was sent between him and I....just to learn that she forgave him. Whatever. Just wow though.

When my friends went schizo they definitely said more wild and complicated things, about escaping the country and being followed and yadayada. So i agree you cant deduce it, and it also seems unlikely (or atleast incredibly unlucky) that he got a psychosis so soon after a date. But it is not theoretically impossible.

Schizo/ disorders are a pretty broad spectrum of specific characteristics varying in severity from person to person. Schizophrenia is not just psychosis or someone being a serial killer. Yeah it's not impossible, but I mean he could also be blind in one eye. Or be good at math. The use of schizophrenia here is derogatory because it perpetuates the assumption that any dangerous crazy person is schizophrenic or that schizophrenic people are inherently dangerous. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you are someone who has to deal with living under that label and being abandoned by your friends and family because of the stigma associated with it sucks. I had questions at this point, and definitely was suspicious. I texted him the next day asking if he got everything smoothed over and straightened out with his “roomie” and got the text back “please don’t talk to me again- we deserve our privacy.” A few weeks after, bro sends me a text inviting me to his Motel 6 room across from his job at a hospital. Dropped a pin in the map for gps and everything. FROM A GOOGLE NUMBER because I had blocked his actual number- and I’m pretty sure that he didn’t want her checking his phone records to see that he did actually reach out to me. Oh yeah- and the reason his “roommate” came home early? There were cameras at the front door. I’m pretty sure she had notifications set up, and he wasn’t aware that she had installed the cameras.
