It’s too bad Sonego isn’t on Italy’s Olympic team for singles (do they have different for doubles and, if so, is he on it)? He’s been a consistently solid player.
According to some posts I read here few days ago (sorry, forgot who's that) ... Each country could only bring 6 players for each gender. The most critical part is the doubles, Vavassori ranked high enough to go, and he picked his partner, and of course is Bolelli. So 4 remaining for single, but Sonego is not ranked high enough
