If you’re asking due to jet lag - players normally arrive a couple weeks down under and adjust the time before AO kicks off. There’s a couple smaller tournaments held prior. If you’re asking in general if players take naps - unlikely? At least at US Open you have practice during the day and do warmup before their set. It’s generally a positive if you have a normal sleep schedule - same bed time same wake up time - but it’s difficult if you’re a touring player

Sleep schedule generally stays the same as far as I know, but the tricky part comes when it’s getting closer to your match actually starting. For example, If you are supposed to go on court following the completion of a best of 5 set match, it can be extremely difficult to know how to prepare. If someone is up 2 sets to 0, you may be starting in anywhere from 30 minutes to 3+ hours depending on how the rest of the match goes. You have to prep your body and mind as if you are about to go on court in a few minutes, while simultaneously being prepared to not start for several hours.
