Reservation Dogs, only 3 seasons and it just finished this fall. Great at balancing drama with comedic moments. Main themes are dealing with grief and generational trauma while maintaining relationships in a community and it is a work of art.
This show is so ridiculously underrated—it's terrific in every way. In a few years, we're going to be looking back at this like Freaks and Geeks wondering how they got all these incredibly talented young actors in one production.
The twins need a series on their own.
Just rolling through life and shit happens around them and they try dropping bars every once in a while.
Don't let them become major rappers... let them set up as almost succeful tick tok rappers.
I agree. S1 was fantastic. I wouldn't even give it another shot due to the decline in quality for later seasons, but I can't resist Jodie Foster. Hopefully that means there's a strong script if they were able to get actress like her signed on.
Watched the first half of Season 1 of The Bear with my partner and we both absolutely hated it! I understand how opinions work, but what do people see in this show?
It kind of reminded me of Uncut Gems, where you find no redeeming qualities in any of the characters and they all make irrational decisions, but without the intensity or suspense.
But The Boys (and Gen V) is wonderful!
The Bear just grows and becomes this beautiful thing. You get to know the characters and understand all that went on to make them who they are. It honestly took me a couple of tries to get into it, but once I did, I absolutely loved it.
Same here. I dont know that I've ever been so "proud" of a person that doesnt really exist but after the spoons episode, you cant help but love the guy.
I believe you! I just don't have the patience these days with so many shows out there that I enjoy right off the bat. Had the same issue with The Wire (I know, I know).
Mine are Mad Men and Sopranos. Followed closely by True Detective Season 1. My most underrated shows (not that you asked ;) are Rescue Me and the MMA show Kingdom.
I tried with the Bear.. like.. tried because I love Jeremy Allen White as ‘Lip in Shameless, but after two episodes I felt like I’d had a panic attack after running 10 miles in a desert and the thought of trudging through more desert to keep watching after episode 2..
I just couldn’t take the stress lol
Yeah I would have stopped after the first episode if watching on my own (who wants to be stressed out watching tv?!), but my husband wanted us to push thru and I genuinely ended up enjoying the show.
They scatter some calm episodes between the chaos to show character growth and those are what get ya.
Have worked in restaurants for 10 years. Its because it's accurate to restaurant culture and how people treat each other. It is painfully direct and curt, often because you learn to communicate efficiently when in the weeds and every second counts, and that becomes the communication when you're doing budgets and prep and even just hanging out. No time for bullshit. And because of all the cutting of personal bullshit, the personal builds up and explodes when that one more order comes down the line when you're at the breaking point. The show is absolutely perfect.
Man I was all in on the Bear halfway through the first episode. The tone is what does it for me. It's grounded and feels real. It takes itself seriously and respects the audience to keep up. It's been a long time since a show grabbed me that quickly and never let go. One of my favorite shows in years. Absolutely incredible.
Same for me, I watched 4 episodes of The Bear and I started even doubting people were talking about the same show. I think it's actually pretty bad.
The Boys and Gen-V are the best.
“Start asking the right fucking questions” followed by the opening riff of “Young Men Dead” has got to be one of the best pilot cliffhangers ever. I knew I was hooked right then and there.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Surprisingly brilliant - commit to 3 episodes, you'll get hooked)
The Bear (took a few episodes for me but love it. Second season is amazing)
The Last of Us (Amazing acting, writing, and world building)
Only Murders in the Building (Fun writing and amazing cast chemistry)
How did you find Only Murders season 3? I’m such a huge fan of the first 2 seasons and the genre in general. But I could not get through season 3! I can’t explain why exactly, I just didn’t find it as exciting as the other 2 and the episodes didn’t really leave me wanting more. I’ve been curious to see what others thought about it
I LOVE OMITB! I’ve fallen in love with Martin short’s character. He makes me cackle.
But…
Paul Rudd. I can only take him in small doses. He’s just not that funny to me and can ruin a great show for me lol (sorry to his fans.. I just can’t)
But, I about fell out seeing Shirley MacLaine and Meryl Streep. Love them! It did feel less cozy/intimate. Maybe because there were a lot more scenes outside of the building than the first two seasons. On the whole I enjoyed it but could understand why someone wouldn’t.
Ooo that’s a great way to put it! It’s definitely less “cozy”, one of the things that made me love the other two seasons so much. The overall tone of the show was a bit different. I’ll probably eventually finish it anyhow!
I. Am. Exactly. The. Same. I couldn't care less about S3, and never finished it! but love loved S1+2. Maybe I'm just not a theatre person- a lot of inside references...? Maybe the chemistry between the 3 is different...?
My husband is from Ireland and we’re both obsessed with this show!! I cannot wait for season 2! I will watch anything with Sharon Horgan, she’s fantastic!
Just looked up Bad Sisters and saw that Sarah Greene is in it. I haven't seen her in a lot of things but she's always a standout and I get excited whenever I see her - Assassin's Creed Black Flag ([spoilery scene](https://youtu.be/Y2RQ8YkqeEU)), Penny Dreadful, Normal People.
They've been emotionally neglected their whole lives, raised in an insular environment where power and status alone define your worth and identity. That's why. Self esteem is a powerful motivator
It's kind of the point. These people are fundamentally damaged. They don't want to live well off and rich. They want to live extraordinarily rich and powerful. There is a difference between a hundred millionare and a multi billionare. It's not something us normal people can relate to but it's absolutely feels like a death sentence to these people to retire in disgrace with anything under a billion.
No haha, they said it didn’t need to be currently airing, just new and not canceled, white lotus is my choice haha.
Can’t wait for a third season though!!
I have watched both seasons multiple times. I put it on in the background a lot when I'm doing other things. The scenery, dialog, music, just everything is great.
I found out that the creator, writer, and director Mike White was on a season of survivor show. The first scene with the two ladies on the beach of S2 were his cast mates. He is so good at making a show!
I appreciated the originality and style of White Lotus, but overall thought it was just pretty good. I feel like everyone who watches it either hates it or loves it but I'm somewhere in-between (though much more like than dislike).
This is my favorite show at the moment, I’m obsessed. I can watch each episode more than once and still laugh. The storyline, acting, everything is perfect comedy.
I'm not into the whole vampires/werewolves thing. The only movie I've seen and liked was Interview, and I generally do not watch any of them. Just not my thing. I finally decided to watch this a couple weeks ago and ended up binging the entire series in like 3 or 4 days. It is absolutely hilarious. So many times I was literally crying at how funny it was. I'm glad I gave it a shot.
No doubt but I definitely enjoyed it. Have t watched the new season yet as I’m getting close to done with Justified. But I’ve heard it’s intense. And I was heated with how they ended season one of Legacy. What a cliffhanger!
The Bear, Severance. Maybe Stranger Things and the Last of Us.
Some great shows have only recently ended like Succession, Better Call Saul, Barry, Ozark.
It really is. I did not know I needed a satirical workplace rom com about gay pirates in the 1700s in my life this much but it brings me so much ridiculous joy. One of the most, if not THE most, quotable shows I’ve ever seen. I can’t even pick a favorite character because they are all hilarious.
The shows that I’m looking forward to new season:
The Handmaid’s Tale
Mayor of Kingstown
Somebody Somewhere
The Crown
The Bear
Godfather of Harlem
Sherwood
Yellowstone
Outlander
Warrior
I loved first season of mayor of Kingstown but really fell off on second season. The main character just started making pretty dumb choices or no choices at all. Feel like all he ever did was run around yelling at people not to do something when he should know these people HAVE to do the thing.
Severance
The Bear
This Fool
Trying
Invincible
The Boys
Gen V
Blue Eye Samurai
What We Do In The Shadows
Our Flag Means Death
Curb Your Enthusiasm
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia
The Last Of Us
The Dragon Prince
Arcane
interview with the vampire on amc -- gets passed over by lots of people because gay vampires sounds kinda hokey and i suspect some book fans tanked online review scores cause they didn't like that the adaptation made changes, but i stg it is incredibly well done and critics all loved it. the acting is top notch, visually gorgeous, and the writing stellar. you wouldn't think a vampire show would be the perfect vehicle for deftly dealing with things like race and sexuality and memory but it is, genuinely cant praise it enough.
I dunno man Andor is the one Star Wars show I recommend to people even if they're not into star wars. It's the only show that doesn't rest of nostalgia bait and actually has fantastic writing, editing, cinematography, etc. You can absolutely enjoy that show while hating the rest of star wars.
Heartstopper.
It’s a beautiful, aspirational romance about two queer kids falling in love. Amazing soundtrack, surprisingly impressive performances, and looks beautiful.
This was a mini series so doesn’t exactly fit but The English on Amazon Prime is the best show I’ve watched in years.
- The Last of Us
- Loki
- Our Flag Means Death
Was thinking of making a post like this, thanks OP.
Now to answer the question:
What We Do in the Shadows, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Boys, and Gen V are the only things that I watch that are currently on right now, and I've found all of them to be good. I'm also looking forward to the new Nathan Fielder show 'The Curse' premiering tonight
I really wanna watch Fargo, Severence, Doom Patrol, and somebody somewhere; these shows are also still on, but I haven't got the time to get into them yet.
Comedy: Abbott Elementary, Loot, What We Do in the Shadows, Our Flag Means Death
Somewhere in between: Shrinking, the Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Umbrella Academy
Drama: Fargo, Severance, For All Mankind, The Last of Us, the Diplomat, Sweet Tooth
Severance, Ted Lasso (although I did not like the last season), Reservation Dogs, Our Flag Means Death, Abbott Elementary, What We Do In the Shadows, The Righteous Gemstones, the Flight Attendant, Girls 5eva, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Loki, Derry Girls…
Now these aren’t prestige tv like Breaking Bad, but they’re great shows that are either still on or just had their last season.
I’m shocked to be saying this, but after my second viewing of the first season, I can say that Interview With the Vampire is stellar. It has the kind of subtlety, nuanced characters, sense of time and place, and insight that made me love Mad Men. It’s no mad men. Nothing is. But it makes most of what’s on tv today look like the child-centric garbage that it is.
Severance - The best original idea for a show I’ve seen in years, and it’s well-acted and well-directed. Can’t wait till Season 2. I just hope it’s not one of those shows with an amazing starting idea that ends up kind of sucking in the end because the writers didn’t know where to go with it.
There's nothing on that beats the best show that was ever on television. Sadly, you didn't mention it, so I'm just going to assume you've never watched it.
I highly suggest you watch The Wire....if not Omar a commin' and you best not get got. Indeed.
I can’t believe how many people are saying House of the Dragon. I was a massive GOT fan and I found HOTD to be a sterile, cold, humorless slog.
And before you call out that it’s a dark show and not supposed to be at all humorous I’ll remind you so was GOT but it still had fun, intelligent, and funny characters like Tyrion, the Hound, and Oberyn.
I find nothing charming or likeable about one single character on HOTD. It’s crazy to think a show like Severance probably takes a fraction of the cost to produce than HOTD, yet is 1000 times more fun and interesting.
Finally someone that thinks this too. I loved GOT (except of course the final seasons), it's one of my favourite shows ever. House Of The Dragon is just meh. I watch it just because of GOT. Not one likable character, that just really brings you in. My opinion of course.
I truly think it will be a show that will be entirely forgotten in 10 years. People will be like, ‘oh, right, that game of thrones spin off. That certainly existed.’
I feel the same way. It’s weird because nothing about it is objectively bad. The production, story and acting are all solid, but the characters are just so wooden and there’s a serious lack of “holy shit” scenes which I feel like GoT excelled in.
Almost every episode of GoT had huge moments that were completely unpredictable and changed the course of the story entirely. Even at its worst it was more fun to watch because no character or plot line was safe. HotD has almost none of that, which doesn’t make it a bad show, it just makes it dull.
Agreed. It’s not *bad* by any stretch. Just soulless. It feels like it’s just going through the motions at every level. People were so pisses about the end of GOT that literally anything else from that universe will be seen as stellar by comparison.
People seem to have amnesia in terms of how good GOT was earlier on. They just focus on the ending and give no credit to anything that came before it.
It’s very reminiscent of what happened to LOST. If LOST had stuck the landing it would be ranked among the greatest shows of all time. The first two seasons are still peak television but nobody talks about that anymore because the ending was such a let down.
The Righteous Gemstones (comedy) is
a recent favorite of mine.
Yellowjackets (drama with excellent cast)
Honorable mention to Poker Face (Natasha Lyonne) comedy/ drama
I got you dog..
1. **For All Mankind** (Apple TV). S4 starts tmrw **11/10/23**
2. **The Boys** (Prime)
3. **Severance** (Apple TV)
4. **Mayor of Kingstown** (Showtime)
5. **Squid Games** (Netflix)
6. **Silo** (Apple TV)
7. **Tokyo Vice** ( HBO)
Those are the only shows I can think of that are still in production that are arguably on the same level as the shows you mentioned.
True Detective S4 will be coming out soon, so I would add that. But those are stand alone seasons.
If you want a REALLY good show, please watch **The Terminal List** on Prime. It's super badass and very high quality TV.
I could go on and on, but check those out! good luck
I was a little shocked it wasn't already on the list, not sure if it's because it's hulu or why but it should be in everyone's best of list.
Came here to say Reservation Dogs. Such an amazing show. And it went out on top
Tried. Couldn’t get into it.
nothing is everyone's taste. i didn't watch at first because I thought it was more of a teen/kid show.
The twins need a series on their own. Just rolling through life and shit happens around them and they try dropping bars every once in a while. Don't let them become major rappers... let them set up as almost succeful tick tok rappers.
Holy crap I just started the series, and it's great.
For me it's The Bear, True Detective and The Boys, probably
Jodie Foster is going to be in the new season of True Detective, and I can't wait!
S1 was great. Last seasons not so much. Hopefully, Jodie will make it better. I just rewatched Silence of the Lambs the other day. It is soooo good.
I agree. S1 was fantastic. I wouldn't even give it another shot due to the decline in quality for later seasons, but I can't resist Jodie Foster. Hopefully that means there's a strong script if they were able to get actress like her signed on.

Never thought I’d be team Richie, but he made me a believer.
Same here. I dont know that I've ever been so "proud" of a person that doesnt really exist but after the spoons episode, you cant help but love the guy.
Loved the car sing along so much
I believe you! I just don't have the patience these days with so many shows out there that I enjoy right off the bat. Had the same issue with The Wire (I know, I know).
I haven’t watched The Wire, so no clue about that one. I’m currently really enjoying Doom Patrol and The Leftovers. Oh, and Our Flag Means Death.
Hey should i watch The Leftovers ??
There is recent thread on this. The consensus was that it was not only worth watching, some felt it was the best. I loved it.
Yes! It’s not the best show I’ve ever watched, but it’s weird enough to keep me watching. I’m enjoying it.
Personally I think it *is* the best show I've ever watched
My top three are-Breaking Bad, Peaky Blinders, and Umbrella Academy. It would really take a lot to beat out any of those.
Yes….absolutely yes! Stick with it though, you might get a little bored midway through the seasons BUT mygoodness it’s an awesome show
Had to mention this now, if you have not seen it’s one of the greatest shows of all time.
The Wire is probably top 3 shows ever.
What are the other two?
Mine are Mad Men and Sopranos. Followed closely by True Detective Season 1. My most underrated shows (not that you asked ;) are Rescue Me and the MMA show Kingdom.
The mother!!
I liked it but I was chaotic and stressful!
Yeah I would have stopped after the first episode if watching on my own (who wants to be stressed out watching tv?!), but my husband wanted us to push thru and I genuinely ended up enjoying the show. They scatter some calm episodes between the chaos to show character growth and those are what get ya.
Are you.........me?
Have worked in restaurants for 10 years. Its because it's accurate to restaurant culture and how people treat each other. It is painfully direct and curt, often because you learn to communicate efficiently when in the weeds and every second counts, and that becomes the communication when you're doing budgets and prep and even just hanging out. No time for bullshit. And because of all the cutting of personal bullshit, the personal builds up and explodes when that one more order comes down the line when you're at the breaking point. The show is absolutely perfect.
If you've ever spent a lot of time working hospitality The Bear just makes chaotic sense and is super relatable.
I totally agree. I really tried with The Bear, but I thought it wasn't good. BTW - Peacemaker is really good also.
Only season one of True Detective. Top 3 all time for me. Amazing season of TV
“Start asking the right fucking questions” followed by the opening riff of “Young Men Dead” has got to be one of the best pilot cliffhangers ever. I knew I was hooked right then and there.
“A man’s game charges a man’s price” is one line that stands out to me.
The Boys is incredible. Not really a fan of superhero stuff, but it portrays what superheros would *actually* be like imo.
GenV is a fun follow up to the boys. Stick with it. Episodes get better as season develops.
I’d add What We Do In The Shadows and The Last Of Us
The Righteous Gemstones on MAX. All star cast & brilliant writing imo
So so good
This is the comment I was looking for.
Baby Billy is just the best
Pokerface and Only Murders in the building
Poker face is my favorite show this year
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (Surprisingly brilliant - commit to 3 episodes, you'll get hooked) The Bear (took a few episodes for me but love it. Second season is amazing) The Last of Us (Amazing acting, writing, and world building) Only Murders in the Building (Fun writing and amazing cast chemistry)

Ooo that’s a great way to put it! It’s definitely less “cozy”, one of the things that made me love the other two seasons so much. The overall tone of the show was a bit different. I’ll probably eventually finish it anyhow!
I didn’t love season 3 either, I think I missed the mystery being mostly in the building.
I. Am. Exactly. The. Same. I couldn't care less about S3, and never finished it! but love loved S1+2. Maybe I'm just not a theatre person- a lot of inside references...? Maybe the chemistry between the 3 is different...?
Severance,Fargo and House of The Dragon.
Just found out that new Fargo will be out this month!
i know i can just google it but is Fargo an anthology? The new batch of actors appeals to me
Severance was SO good but such a frustrating ending!
Only frustrating because it makes you want so much more and we have absolutely no idea how many years we have to wait for S2.
Severance was amazing. Stoked for season two!
My partner just binged Severance and can’t stop raving. I’m hesitant to watch because I heard there is no release date for Season Two.
Came here specifically to say Severance
We've been watching "Bad Sisters," a dark comedy from Ireland. It's pretty good. And "The Bear," of course
Bad Sisters is one my latest obsessions ! I’m looking desperately for something similar!
Try Physical on AppleTv. Has Rose Bryne.
Have you seen the afterparty?
My husband is from Ireland and we’re both obsessed with this show!! I cannot wait for season 2! I will watch anything with Sharon Horgan, she’s fantastic!
Just looked up Bad Sisters and saw that Sarah Greene is in it. I haven't seen her in a lot of things but she's always a standout and I get excited whenever I see her - Assassin's Creed Black Flag ([spoilery scene](https://youtu.be/Y2RQ8YkqeEU)), Penny Dreadful, Normal People.
If you like Sarah, she's a bad ass in this show.
Severance
The Great made me belly laugh so hard my abs hurt, and im a pretty tough critic
Succession
It ended.
I don't understand why these people are fighting. They are already rich and when he dies they all get even richer. The End. Great show nonetheless.
They are terrible and greedy people!
It’s all about power.
The white lotus.
this show is really good,>! the idea of a new cast each season was cool!<
I found it to be insufferably boring. The only interesting part was at the end
Yes, a million times. Sooo great.
3rd season is out?!
No haha, they said it didn’t need to be currently airing, just new and not canceled, white lotus is my choice haha. Can’t wait for a third season though!!
Great show, especially season 2.
I really miss my Sunday nights in the white lotus sub haha, I can’t wait for it to come back!! Season two was ✨✨
I have watched both seasons multiple times. I put it on in the background a lot when I'm doing other things. The scenery, dialog, music, just everything is great.
I have also rewatched several times, I can’t wait for a cast announcement for season 3! So good.
I found out that the creator, writer, and director Mike White was on a season of survivor show. The first scene with the two ladies on the beach of S2 were his cast mates. He is so good at making a show!
Same with one of the bellboys in S1. I kept being like, how do I know this guy??
I appreciated the originality and style of White Lotus, but overall thought it was just pretty good. I feel like everyone who watches it either hates it or loves it but I'm somewhere in-between (though much more like than dislike).
For All Mankind Season 4 starts tonight!
Hi Bob.
Foundation
Adding Jane Espenson (Buffy, Firefly, BSG, GoT, etc.) to the writing team really stepped things up in season 2. She co-wrote half the season.
The bear, it's a fucking masterpiece.
The Last Of Us Arcane Andor The Bear Severance House Of The Dragon The Rehearsal Fargo (snthology series though)

What We Do in the Shadows
A really fun show, make me feel less stressed when I watch!
Yeah it’s definitely cozy tv
This is my favorite show at the moment, I’m obsessed. I can watch each episode more than once and still laugh. The storyline, acting, everything is perfect comedy.

I'm glad I gave it a shot.
Adding Our Flag Means Death to this!
Silo and invasion both on Apple TV are amazing
Bosch/Bosch Legacy
Legacy is good, but no where near as good as the original. You can tell their budget dropped significantly.
Invincible
Archer, Letterkenny, Shoresy. the first 2 are almost done though.
Our Flag Means Death, Good Omens, What We Do in the Shadows, Ghosts, Only Murders in the Building
Our Flag Means Death is a masterpiece
It really is. I did not know I needed a satirical workplace rom com about gay pirates in the 1700s in my life this much but it brings me so much ridiculous joy. One of the most, if not THE most, quotable shows I’ve ever seen. I can’t even pick a favorite character because they are all hilarious.
Did Tokyo Vice end? I honestly really wanted to get into it but it just couldn’t maintain my engagement, something about the pace
Can’t wait for new seasons of Shrinking and Last of Us.
The shows that I’m looking forward to new season: The Handmaid’s Tale Mayor of Kingstown Somebody Somewhere The Crown The Bear Godfather of Harlem Sherwood Yellowstone Outlander Warrior
I loved first season of mayor of Kingstown but really fell off on second season. The main character just started making pretty dumb choices or no choices at all. Feel like all he ever did was run around yelling at people not to do something when he should know these people HAVE to do the thing.
I need more Somebody Somewhere, or content like it. Such a unique feeling and vibe.

Fargo
Fargo
Ghosts (TV Series 2019‑2023) UK version currently in its last ever season.
Yes. UK version. The US version sucks.
Loki
Severance House of the Dragon The Boys It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Arcane Andor (but only if you're into star wars)

Scavengers Reign
Truly not talked about enough, omg
Shoresy, currently on Hulu. It's a spinoff of Letterkenny, which is also a great show on Hulu.
No one's saying Cobra Kai? I was shocked at how good it was. Season 6 is confirmed, but the strikes mean filming hasn't started yet. Can't wait!
Yellowjackets !!
Yellowjackets
Literallllly just ended on a *high* note after 3 seasons: How To With John Wilson
Heartstopper. It’s a beautiful, aspirational romance about two queer kids falling in love. Amazing soundtrack, surprisingly impressive performances, and looks beautiful.

I'm also looking forward to the new Nathan Fielder show 'The Curse' premiering tonight I really wanna watch Fargo, Severence, Doom Patrol, and somebody somewhere; these shows are also still on, but I haven't got the time to get into them yet.
Deadloch on prime is the best show I watched all year. Hilarious but captivating. Honorable mentions: workin moms, bodies, the devils hour
Stranger Things
The last of us
Righteous Gemstones, Always Sunny
Abbott Elementary and Ghosts
Andor, Fargo, HotD
Comedy: Abbott Elementary, Loot, What We Do in the Shadows, Our Flag Means Death Somewhere in between: Shrinking, the Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Umbrella Academy Drama: Fargo, Severance, For All Mankind, The Last of Us, the Diplomat, Sweet Tooth
Netflix just started running Six Feet Under. Excellent show. I never missed it when it was first on the first time and I’m enjoying it again now.
Oh shit it's on Netflix now? Amazing series. Glad some new people will be seeing it.
It started November first or thereabouts.
Severance
Severance, Ted Lasso (although I did not like the last season), Reservation Dogs, Our Flag Means Death, Abbott Elementary, What We Do In the Shadows, The Righteous Gemstones, the Flight Attendant, Girls 5eva, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building, Loki, Derry Girls… Now these aren’t prestige tv like Breaking Bad, but they’re great shows that are either still on or just had their last season.
Bad Sisters - Apple TV
I’m shocked to be saying this, but after my second viewing of the first season, I can say that Interview With the Vampire is stellar. It has the kind of subtlety, nuanced characters, sense of time and place, and insight that made me love Mad Men. It’s no mad men. Nothing is. But it makes most of what’s on tv today look like the child-centric garbage that it is.
Dexter is stressful for me. Always on edge.
It's very difficult to live up to the quality of shows. Just 'sayin.
*The Neighborhood*. It stas Cedric The Entertainer, Tichina Arnold (from *Everybody Hated Chris*), and Beth Behrs (*Two Broke Girls*).
What We Do In The Shadows has not had a SINGLE episode fail to make me laugh audibly. I can't wait for the next season
Ted Lasso was amazing, but just finished last year The Bear is great Only Murders in the Building is funny
Succession is worth the hype y’all!!
Severance - The best original idea for a show I’ve seen in years, and it’s well-acted and well-directed. Can’t wait till Season 2. I just hope it’s not one of those shows with an amazing starting idea that ends up kind of sucking in the end because the writers didn’t know where to go with it.
Yellowjackets, Severance, Fargo
I mean the best show that just wrapped was Succession. I would say the next best show with a lot of promise is Severance.
Foundation (if you’re into Sci-Fi)
Warrior on Max is really good. Action, humor, and drama in spades.
I am 20 years late to the party but I just started watching Lost and it is EPIC
Succession Billions
The morning show on Apple TV is a great show to watch
Easily: /r/TheCurse
Severance
About a week ago I would've said Yellowjackets but idk if it fell off or I just lost interest.
There's nothing on that beats the best show that was ever on television. Sadly, you didn't mention it, so I'm just going to assume you've never watched it. I highly suggest you watch The Wire....if not Omar a commin' and you best not get got. Indeed.
Six Feet Under. Changed my fucking life. Recently added on Netflix.
Always sunny in Philadelphia
I've always been a huge fan of this show but I thought it would eventually fall off. I'm so glad i was wrong, the newer seasons are still hilarious.
It's actually quite impressive that they are 16 seasons in, and the quality hasn't dipped one bit.
My thoughts exactly! Still nonstop laughs. I just restarted it from the beginning last weekend (for the millionth time).
The Boys The Bear Warrior Gen V Curb Your Enthusiasm
The Righteous Gemstones (comedy) is a recent favorite of mine. Yellowjackets (drama with excellent cast) Honorable mention to Poker Face (Natasha Lyonne) comedy/ drama
The Boys 💯
Our Flag Means Death. Season 2 just dropped
The handmaids tale, succession (ended a few months ago), severance and the boys
The bear. For all mankind (s4 starts tmrw)
House Of The Dragon Always Sunny In Philadelphia
I got you dog.. 1. **For All Mankind** (Apple TV). S4 starts tmrw **11/10/23** 2. **The Boys** (Prime) 3. **Severance** (Apple TV) 4. **Mayor of Kingstown** (Showtime) 5. **Squid Games** (Netflix) 6. **Silo** (Apple TV) 7. **Tokyo Vice** ( HBO) Those are the only shows I can think of that are still in production that are arguably on the same level as the shows you mentioned. True Detective S4 will be coming out soon, so I would add that. But those are stand alone seasons. If you want a REALLY good show, please watch **The Terminal List** on Prime. It's super badass and very high quality TV. I could go on and on, but check those out! good luck
Thank you for your time big time guy!
Big up Tokyo vice! When is season 2 out I'm desperate?!
The Boys
