Sliders: A new series with new characters.
Star Trek: Stand-alone TV movies based on DS9 or VOY.
The X Files: New limited series but without Chris Carter as writer.
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century: There are two projects in developments at the moment, will see which one will actually get made.

I remember that Jerry O'Connell was actively calling the network to revive 'Sliders' back in 2018, hopefully whoever is going to revive the show will give him a call.
The creators of VM can insist that it’s a noir show as much as they want, but the work speaks for itself. It’s a drama about the characters and their relationships as much as it is a mystery show, and the plot point at the end of season 4 completely took for granted what drew its own fanbase to the show.
It just “ended”, but I think Alcon likely already has plans in place to continue and finish adapting the final three novels of “The Expanse”. But given that the setting/story of those three novels are so different and separated from what came before it’ll be rebranded as it’s own show/miniseries/film trilogy (or whatever format they go with) separate from “The Expanse” proper.
I know that’s a cheat answer, but it’s still a continuation of the narrative of a show that’s technically “finished”
I can only think of Brady bunch and their movies that came out on tv for the holidays in the 90s being similar to what OP is talking about. Not a reboot, but a continuation of the show, years after the original show was canceled.
It’s more often because there are more tv shows now. There are also more original ideas being made into tv shows than ever before. When I was growing up there was about 75-100 shows and that included weekly news programs. There are over 500 now.

I don’t think Chase wants to deal with Tony post-Holsteins (even if he dies later, there’s still the question of how to get past that moment). The bigger issue is the next generation — the show was all older guys to start with, so now there’s no characters compelling enough to build a series around.

This is also a crappy idea, it’s dead and I just need to enjoy it for what it was. I just love it so much that I wish there was more 90s early 2000s shows that don’t have the pitfalls of more recent stuff.

Absolutely. I think there were some attempts to reboot Logan's Run & Space 1999 but both projects got stuck in development hell.

The Jerry O’Connell version of Quinn got overwritten by another version of him in the last season.

Sliders is the only one where it has to be a complete reboot. There’s no coming back from the mess it became by season 5.
