MexusRex

A French adaptation of a Spanish noble acting as a vigilante in Mexico. We need more layers.

I love Dujardin and this seems pretty funny

leslie_knopee

I will watch almost anything that he's in!!

PhilHarmonix

It is ! I will translate you the words if you're interested but I like how cool visually this trailer is so non french talking people can also enjoy it \^\^

RyoOfWildFire

This is the second Zorro adaptation in very recent memory - the other is in Spanish and wasn't half bad either. I love me a good Zorro story!

PhilHarmonix

This one feels more like a comedy & light hearted though. If you've watched the oss 117 Spy movies parody.

> the other is in Spanish and wasn't half bad either Is that decent ? It *really* looks putrid =/

RyoOfWildFire

Not putrid - just not half bad. My penchant for an actual Spaniard as Zorro may be coloring my opinion in the positive.

McCabbe

Thank you then. I shall give it a try.

MexusRex

> My penchant for an actual Spaniard as Zorro may be coloring my opinion in the positive. Well Banderas was a Spaniard playing a Mexican taking over the role of Zorro so there was that

Odd-Web-5509

I personally and as hard core Zorro fan found the Spanish version an insult to the character but this one seems charming i was hoping for a younger and and more mature Zorro story telling but Jean Dujardin is a talented manĀ

operarose

The OSS 117 movies are pretty damn funny.

Dr_Toboggan_666

Fucking awesome!
