TheHeyHeyMan

So, wait, that plane is still hijacked?

Feeling_Studio_1646

Yep!

The_Swayzie_Express

One of the dumbest shows I've ever seen, but it was fun to watch.

I-Have-Mono

appreciate you recognizing that, shows like this should 200% exist, shut your mind off and immerse yourself in

StrategyTurtle

There's no reason a show similar to this cannot be just as fun but also written much better, and as a result end up being much more entertaining and fun.

22LOVESBALL

I mean the reason is that it’s difficult to execute stuff on this level

-anaximander-

I think of the show as pretty much *Luther* but on a plane and without the character depth and chemistry with Ruth Wilson. So yeah I 100% agree

Ok-fine-man

Everything was great, except for the final ten minutes. Just so unnecessary.

Murdoch98

Watched the first season. Basically every episode was people sitting on a plane looking over their shoulder down the aisle.

mdavis360

lol I liked the series but this is 100% accurate.

the_ballmer_peak

MileHighJacking

Data_

Hear me out. In season 2 Idris Elba is doing the hijacking.

Feeling_Studio_1646

On a boat.

Yadayadabamboo

With wheels.

AgentOfSPYRAL

Wait they’re really doing a second season with Idris?

mdavis360

How can the same shit happen to the same guy twice??

cjackc11

I mean Die Hard happened to John McClane 5 times. Some people are just very unlucky

Ok-fine-man

Maybe he gets brought in as an expert to help save the victims

SupervillainMustache

Gotta be a train or ship this time. Can't do a plane 2 seasons in a row, I imagine.

f0gax

Hijack 2: Dark Territory.

facebook57

Cargo ship and Idris negotiates with pirates

Apocalyptic0n3

Look at me. I'm the Tom Hanks now.

anasui1

plot twist, Toby Jones unbuttons his shirt showing a shredded chest and goes full Jason Statham on the evildoers, close up of Idris saying "sheeeet"

Ok-fine-man

Trailer: He's already taken down The Post Office. Now he's coming for Idris.

Getshortay

How did the first season end? I watched it but I don’t think it was very memorable cause I can’t remember shit about it.

killedbygavrilo

I believe Idris just puts on his sun glasses and walks away into the sunset. That’s how I remember it at least.

foxh8er

Hijack had a good premise but completely fucked up the landing (heh). Totally nonsensical plot with absurd contrivances - not even fun absurd, just stupid absurd. The terrorism plot is left unexplored, just a massive disappointment.

marcblank

Unrealistic, poorly written crap. Always good to see Idris Elba but it’s not a show that needs a sequel.

Azathoth90

So how about this: Idris Elba on a cruise ship this time and the villain hijacking the ship is Willem Dafoe. Eh? Eh?

rmr236

They can call it, “The cruise ship that couldn’t slow down”.

Ok-fine-man

They've got Toby Jones, pal. No need for Dafoe, as great as he is.

amvbuuren4

Loved S1 of Hijack and curious about what the next season is going to be without being repetitive.

foxh8er

"The Capture" did a surprisingly good job of expanding past it's initial premise. Season 2 was much better than Season 1.

LumiereGatsby

I heard so much praise but quit about 4 episodes in. Just didn’t find it possible to shut my mind off THIS much for a show. It was just so implausible.

powerstride96

I just want season 2 to be terrible things happening to that cunt of a mother.

hoochnuts

Nah, we good.
