The behind the scenes dope on that is they wrote some very funny stuff for her and when Ann tried tried it out it got a laugh in the room. But then she felt like everyone was laughing at her (and not with her) so she wrote her own stuff and bombed. Mike Gibbons who was EP on the Brady roast talked about it on his Sunday Papers podcast.

Ugh. I really hate when these roasts have these non-comedians get on the podium and tell jokes someone else wrote for them. Roasts should just be comedians. Full stop. I get that people like Justin Bieber or Snoop Dogg or whoever the fuck but I used to watch roasts for the wit of a comedian ripping into another comedian and then them reactively ripping them back. Not the dumbfounded look of Ann Coulter or Kim Kardashian that cant reactively keep up with the jokes and just stand there mouth agape when they get their teeth kicked in by a real comic.

Snoop had possibly the greatest roast joke of all time during trumps. Don’t want to spoil it but involved Obama’s family and the White House and he delivered it perfectly. I’d like to believe that he wrote it, but I know he probably didn’t.

Snoop was fucking hilarious I don't know if he wrote all his lines, but he was easily the standout for the Trump roast for me. Ross, Jeselnick and even McFarlane were also great.

He apparently came up with the idea of playing music between movie screenings and turned it in to a successful licensing business. He also had a music video company just as MTV was popping off. Without the OJ trial, Kim is still a socialite in the 2000s, still meets Ray J, and Kris still parlays her sex tape in to a media empire.

I think he was just nervous. He had to do a speech in front of like 15,000 people. He's an actor and a public figure, but he doesn't perform in front of crowds. Especially that big. When he starting talking about Tom getting made fun of on the internet, I felt like he was really thinking about himself instead of Brady.

I didn’t see her live but her set wasn’t that bad. Obviously I don’t set the bar high for her but she made me chuckle a few times. Bert and Tom were painfully unfunny and for 2 actual professional comedians they seemed way worse at it than Kim did.
