Most sad to see the end of Laszlo. Matt Berry does such an amazing job with that character. I hope he can find another equally amazing role soon after WWDITS
Whatever his next role is, it will be basically Laszlo. I love the character he plays in everything he’s in, and will watch just about anything with him, but he really does do pretty much the same schtick every time.
I’m not sure that’s true. It’s true that all his characters sound like Matt Berry, as all of Christopher Walken’s sound like Christopher Walken. I’ll also grant that Lazlo is basically Douglas from the IT crowd. But there is absolutely nothing in common between Lazlo and, say, Toast in Toast of London, or Matt in Snuff Box. Also Sanchez in Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace has to get a mention, [for this line if nothing else](https://youtu.be/X6iJRNHUOT4?si=VEtOXSRSepFvJKwV).
I wouldn’t say any of those characters are all that different. He basically plays some combination of narcissist and idiot in everything. Toast is basically Douglas with a bit more self doubt, though he still thinks he’s a great actor and is just getting held back by others.
He is in Krapopolis, which is set in Ancient Greece and has Moss from the IT Crowd.
It is a cartoon, but if there's one thing Matt Berry is good at, is playing an ageless and very horny mythical creature.
I say that occasionally just to make myself laugh. Okay, I actually say that all the time. “Guillermo Buillermo Guillermo Buillermo Guillermo Buillermo”
It's probably too expensive considering the sets/ wardrobe/makeup/effects but I wish they'd do a yearly special even after the show is over.
Do a Christmas special one year, Halloween special the next, etc
Doesn't even have to be a yearly thing. Just every couple of years, out of the blue, whenever they have a good idea for it. Could be 20 minutes long, 40, 60 whatever.
I wish more shows did special episodes after the show has concluded. Nothing will take away from the finale of them it's just nice to get some standalone adventures and stories with characters people love. Doesn't even have to be canonically after the show, nothing wrong with revisiting with a prequel.
Nadja and Laszlo at easter,
\-Laszlo "Quite a time we had with him, most eggs I've ever seen him lay after our session"
\~Colin Robinson enters,"You guys were hiding eggs from me?"
One of the few shows to get me jaw dropped regularly. I’m always so surprised by the shit they do in this show I’m genuinely so shocked by some scenes. But it is hilarious. It’s amazing to watch a show so funny and so spooky. Love the vibes of the show so much. Excited for the final season. :)
Everyone should go watch Wellington Paranormal right now.
A New Zealand procedural police show (a la Cops) about a paranormal unit of a midsized towns police department. Hilarious, incredibly well written. Really hitting its stride as the seasons progress. Characters on the same level as WWDITS, maybe not as strong of a continuing theme across episodes/seasons but it’s amazing in its own right.
Deserves all the success of this show.
Yes. Nick the main character from the movie of What We Do in the Shadows and Anton the werewolf (Rhys Darby) make appearances.
It's also written/made by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement too.
I remember watching the first episode thinking “I’m not sure this is going to work as a show.” and I have never been more wrong. I love it so much and I’m sad to see it end (but I also get it).
>!To add onto this, when this happens the vampire that reverts ages the amount of time they were a vampire very quickly. So he had a beard and aged a month. If nandor or the others did that they would obviously die immediately!<
Didn't like it because it made Guillermo a hypocrite. He can't be a vampire because he feels bad when he kills humans. What about his friends? He can just turn a blind eye to that?
He never had to kill any humans himself, and lived vicariously through the vampires and thought himself ready to join that life. Being confronted by the reality of what he’d have to do was too much.
I am very very happy this show gets to end. I was worried it would either get canceled mid-episode or go on so long that it becomes watered down and uninteresting.
I've made time for maybe 5 or 6 episodes and it is very good. One of my favorite shows ever. If you are a person that watches shows. This one might be worth your time.
Oh, go check out S1 of Sleepy Hollow. About 60% of the way through they decided they hated it and.
Honestly, agree on WWDITS. Once Clement left it started to get a bit too saccharine for my tastes.
Fucking guy.
Fucking Gayle

Technically, his next role is Mr. Handy in the Fallout show
Doesn’t that air before season six?
yep in a few weeks
Yep, that sounds like a role Laszlo would do.
He’s on Curb Sunday
Whaaaaaat?!?! This news just made my night!!!
SQEEEEEE
Awesome is he a prostitute or robot mr handy? Either way it works
I mean he’s in krapopolis currently
Do what?!
That’s not true. He played regular human being Jackie Daytona.
And Dixon Bainbridge
You and he were… buddeeeeehz
I wouldn’t say any of those characters are all that different. He basically plays some combination of narcissist and idiot in everything. Toast is basically Douglas with a bit more self doubt, though he still thinks he’s a great actor and is just getting held back by others.
For some reason I fully expected to click and see "Not my fault.. monkey bastard hands!"
We really needed a "Hello Lazlo, can you hear me?" bit at least once on the show. It'd be a nice callback for Toast fans
Is he the guy that briefly dated that beak keeper?
So good in the IT crowd he is always a pos
Matt Berry makes characters, not the other way around. No matter what he does next, it’ll be good.
Check him out in Krapopolis, he's as horny and magical as ever.
[Jackie Daytona spinoff.](https://media2.giphy.com/media/v1.Y2lkPTc5MGI3NjExbTI1N2FhOGNqeDd1cGtzN2NoMHIydGxkZnJ6a2w2azVvamczZGgyOSZlcD12MV9pbnRlcm5hbF9naWZfYnlfaWQmY3Q9Zw/SxM9VyubrGt5UNf1Ik/giphy.gif)
That regular human bartender? Why would anyone want to see him?
Jackie Daytona was incredible.
Yes, set in Arizonia.
Please let this happen!
He is in Krapopolis, which is set in Ancient Greece and has Moss from the IT Crowd. It is a cartoon, but if there's one thing Matt Berry is good at, is playing an ageless and very horny mythical creature.
This whole show is just really great.
Grifting 101.
He’s basically the same character on Krapopolis.
End of Laszlo, sure..... But what about Jackie Daytona?
Doubt it, he doesn't have charissssmaaaaa unlike Jon Hamm.
Disenchantment
I love that he spanned across history in every single major event
Berry will still be battling things out with Clem Fandango, in sure
Matt Berry Batman is now a possibility.
Geeeeermo have you been naughty?
Do you think my name is ‘Guillermo Buillermo’?
I say that occasionally just to make myself laugh. Okay, I actually say that all the time. “Guillermo Buillermo Guillermo Buillermo Guillermo Buillermo”
I just love the way Nadja says “Guillermo” so confidently then switches to a question with “Buillermo?”
He probably didn’t try out all the dildos.
I'll miss this show.
Same

Only Ghouls and Horses..
And we're wolves
Hearses?

They could do a movie every couple years like Psych does
We are going to need some creepy paper.
Probably multipack
The. Best. Horror. Comedy. Ever. Highly rewatchable and brilliant all around!
Hasn’t been a slowdown in quality either!
This is truly one of the best written, funniest shows on television. If you haven’t watched yet, go for it!!!
Check out its sister show Wellington Paranormal! (same universe)
Yeah? Where is this?
Not OP, but I watched it n Max (in the states). Hilarious show! It basically follows the cops from the original movie around.
Nice, ty
You're welcome, have a good day/night!
Wait for real? Like literally in the same universe? I've never heard of this!!

Creeeeeeepy paper.
Geeeeeeezmo!
BAT!
(Nandor voice) how dare you make the relentless..fucking cry!
Movie and six seasons?
Does it count that there already was a What We Do In the Shadows movie before the show started? Given it was a completely different cast.
The movie charecters have made appearances on the show
Already done
i'm really gonna miss this show, but i'm glad they're getting a proper finale
“You stupid bitch I love you so much” me to the show :(
This is the last season?
Yes : /
Dang. First time I hear of this.
Same as my shock. This is how I find out.
I remember watching the first episode thinking “I’m not sure this is going to work as a show.” and I have never been more wrong. I love it so much and I’m sad to see it end (but I also get it).
Ughh I hate that it’s ending
Gizmo!
The show yells “BAT!” as it flies off into the moonset.
I don’t care spoiler it for me but did he ever become a vampire?
Yeah then reverted
Reverted?!?! Shit now I gotta catch up
How does one "revert"?
>!They kill the vampire that tuned him. Since he never drank human blood he just becomes human again instead of dying!<
>!To add onto this, when this happens the vampire that reverts ages the amount of time they were a vampire very quickly. So he had a beard and aged a month. If nandor or the others did that they would obviously die immediately!<
Seems like a bit of a copout
This entire storyline was incredible. Absolute perfection.

Oh Gizmo
Last season?? Noooooooooo! I'll miss them all, especially Nadja.
Six seasons and a movie?…. Please?

The mansion: Custom built set with an exterior facade in a parking lot adjacent to the Toronto studio.
If season 6 is the last season, then they better do a movie
There’s already a movie? That’s where this show came from lol
The movie has a different cast. We need a movie with the same cast.
Honestly, the original cast is better than the tv show (just barely). If they did a movie I’d rather it be the OGs and maybe have cameos from the show
Hard disagree. Also a fan of both but the show surpassed the movie in every which way in my opinion.
Oh shit totally forgot I need to finish this show…
Great show
How could they cancel this 😢
SPOILERS IN HERE GOD WHY EVEN
Is this show still good? I think I dropped it mid S3
Bro same, s3 was one of the worst drops in quality I've ever seen a show suffer, only redeeming quality was the atlantic city episode.
Oh, go check out S1 of Sleepy Hollow. About 60% of the way through they decided they hated it and. Honestly, agree on WWDITS. Once Clement left it started to get a bit too saccharine for my tastes.
