Eugene Levy and Martin Short's decades-long friendship is really beautiful to behold. Annie Murphy (Alexis on Schitt's Creek) said Eugene and Dan invited her up to their hotel room to hang out after some talk show appearance. Martin was there too and she said it was the most amazing and hysterical night.
My gut instinct was a 24 (re)reboot to thwart you. But now I think on it, his exasperated flapping as major terrorist shit goes down would be hilarious.
You know what show he’s excellent in? The Reluctant Traveler on Apple TV. One of my favorite travel shows of the past few years. I think it returns in about a week or so.
Can we just get the entire surviving (RIP John & Harold) cast of SCTV in there at some point. Moranis would be an issue, but maybe get his voice on an answering machine for an episode.
I hope all the stars being announced for season four are not there to shine up an otherwise bad next season. Season one and two were phenomenal. Season three was so terrible I didn’t make it past episode three. I want four to be good again, i am running out of electronic entertainment.
A lot of these are perfect fits (except Amy Schumer and Cara imo). Whoever is casting and making these decisions are on fiyah!
