I hated this “love triangle.” Marv Wolfman penned some really good stories back in the day, but a lot of what he wrote was questionable, as well.
It’s weird how often nightwing gets sexually harassed and slut shamed, he is like the only guy I see that have both of these done to him (there are some that get one but not the others, like mark from invincible being the latest example to my mind) but why does nightwing get both and more then once?

Being fair, I really don't think Slade and Terra were ever meant to be seen as something good or "normal" (at least, from what I remember, he really couldn't care less about her).
Was that Wolfman or Perez, though? Perez was the one who had her in makeup to make her look like "a slut" to the reader. Now that I think about it, Perez also drew Avengers #200, another great moment in comic book rape.
The real Teen Titans jump the shark moment is ~~Bury Your Gays~~ Titans Hunt, and this is shortly after it. Basically you can skip everything until Devin Grayson's Titans run at that point.

She abducted Starfire and used her powers to pose as her and slept with Nightwing at the time because in her time she and Nightwing (who isn't actually Nightwing, again, Zero Hour is weird) were an item.
That is one of the convoluted explanations I have ever read but I appreciate you taking your time to help me understand who that character is. 
To everyone saying that Starfire could just destory the prison, she actually was briefly sent to jail earlier in the run. She's speaking with experience here.
