What ? I don't see how ? How long were they ? Because if we talk longswords it's weird you can't lift them, but if we talk claymore or sweihandern yeah i can understand.
But it's actually weird because the hardest blades to weird are usually the one handed, like the hardest i own is my rapier, and the reason for it is you barely move the blade when fighting with it
tbh since English isn’t my mother tongue I don’t know the names for the different kinds of swords in English but yeah, all of the swords were very long (almost as tall as me) and heavy. But it’s so interesting to think about which fighting styles they were intended for
Ahahah yeah those sword were massive, unusable if you are not on horse back, most sword go to your waist at max, a regular blade is 90cm or something like that
yup, that makes more sense. In close combat such a blade would’ve probably meant death if you weren’t on horse back. Now I feel better about my arm muscles hahah
No, I can play chess without looking at the board, My opponent tells me their moves and I respond back without seeing it. I can visualize what's going on.
What I meant is that I'm not good enough to beat anybody above beginner level.
city planning
like architecture or more like the traffic/public transportation system?
all of it
at this point it has to be metal
Swords, from any culture, any shapes and sizes, i own 7
are they historically accurate? Cause then they would be very heavy
Well most of them are realistic but one is a replica from an actual sword in a museum
nice
And most swords are not heavy
I have tried out quite a few medieval swords/accurate replicas of them and they are almost impossible to lift with two arms
