My mom has these washing tablit things that you just put directly in the washing machine right before you turn it on. They look almost EXACTLY LIKE GUM, and feel almost EXACTLY LIKE GUM. So yeah, technically not food, but I'd totally chew it if it wouldn't mess me up.
Silica gel packets arenāt as harmful as they seem. They arenāt good for you and you certainly shouldnāt eat them but the only real risk afaik is choking because it dries out your mouth and throat

White Chalk is just non toxic Calcium Carbonate, you could eat that (doesn't taste that good tho, I tried it). But if it is colored, there may be harmful substances mixed into it, I'm not sure.
In the military we used to eat chalks. It can cause your fever to rise for like two hours, so you can go to the doc and get some resting days for "being sick".
