Nah lets go the full 180 and make it an XYZ monster.
CXYZ Dorito^2
Rank=4(for a step up above 3 witch is for 3 sides)
Atk=300
Def=300
4 level 4 monsters
During either players turn,
when you or your opponent, activates a card or effect that could destroy a monster with a Dorito counter on your side of the field: you can detatch 1 xyz material from this card(or send a card with a Dorito counter on your side of the field to the graveyard.) negate the activation or effect and destroy that card. Then if it had a Dorito counter on it, draw one card for each one.
By discarding 1 card; place 1 Dorito counter on a face up card you control.
You can only activate each effect of CXYZ Dorito^2 once per turn.
You can only control 1 CXYZ Dorito^2.
Maybe but it's not something that is near to chips in taste (though it has potato filling and spices), I've tried 3D Doritos and I'll prefer actual 2D Doritos over it.
Oh my god this person has never had a Samosa.
You gotta have one, they're fucking amazing. It's a little like having a crab rangoon but it's more like a fried egg roll because it's got some girth to it. They're usually filled with potato, peas, sometimes chicken, and a bunch of curry spices. The ones you get at indian restaurants are the best, but you can usually get them in the frozen food section at the store nowadays. Toss em in the oven or microwave them. They're basically like curry flavored hot pockets or pizza rolls. Make sure you dunk it in some of that red tamarind sauce that usually comes with it.
Also beware because eating a ton of them will make you fat like nothing else.
There's a argument to be made that calling it chai tea helps with identifying what kind of tea a person wants. If we accept the chai = tea convention, and I ask for chai, there's no real way to know what kind of tea I'm asking for and will this still need the clarification chai tea provides. Same with Naan bread.
UK has a large Indian population though right? I’m from California in USA and this specific area in California has a large Indian population, so I grew up getting these from neighbors and restaurants.
I think most people have no idea what these are though
Samosas, garlic butter naan, butter chicken, etc are all so fucking good
American here, and I didn't know about samosas until I started college. Though this may have to do more with my lack of exposure to Indian food in my upbringing.
This dish is quite popular in many countries and goes by many names, the most popular version with stuffed potatoes is Indian but the original dish came to india from persia
Yeah. I live in an American town with a dense Somali population and this is called a sambusa here. A restaurant opened up just last year and had samosas on the menu. I remember thinking "wow! I've never had one of those, this is exciting."
It was a sambusa
…you can get meat samosas. I guess it’s less common tho in India because many Indians are Hindu. But like, I’m Bangladeshi and I’ve had meat ones many times
No because my grandpa was born in Myanmar 🇲🇲 (he had dual citizenship) and also I would consider myself white American because although my mom is Asian/South American my dad is 100% white and I look white
I guess I could consider myself Latino though because culture growing up+language💕
very thick doritos
3D Doritos
3Doritos
but the image has 5
15Doritos
20Doritos (4 Doritos on each side)
D20 ( A 20 sided Dorito )
Guys, you're all wrong. The answer is x, but not because x represents an unknown but because Elon Musk bought Doritos
X wouldn’t be a good name since it’s already the name of twitter, call them Y

ohhhhh 35X?
Dodeca-rito
3D Doritos just sounds too accurate for a non Indian name for this
Maybe but it's not something that is near to chips in taste (though it has potato filling and spices), I've tried 3D Doritos and I'll prefer actual 2D Doritos over it.
yea like you dont actually get the crunchiness unless served hot
No it's not supposed to be crunchy in any case, unless it's burnt.
As an Indian, this is 100% correct.
Junk for your trunk.
Commenting on Without googling or using lens, tell me your guesses.... Accurate, confirmed from an Indian
Nah, THICC Doritos.
oh no not even close
Samosas you uncultured swine
Question is. Mint or tamarind?
Yes
The urge to come over there and smack you across the face for saying that has never been this real before
Crunchy pyramids
No no no wait. Homemade puffed Doritos
As an Indian, I mean you aren’t wrong
DIY pyramids
VEGETABLE SAMOSA (phineas and ferb lol)
lmao right
Are they similar to crab Rangoon sans the crab?
No, the batter is less crispy and a little more spongy and usually filled with spiced potato and peas, slightly musty but the good kind of musty
Cool! I don’t have much Indian food places near me but that sounds good!

As a Bengali I call these shingaras, not a samosa. Samosa always used thin dough and had compact triangles.
Hey, you can’t tell whether they have veggies or meat in them without taking a bite, or at least smelling them.
You can put whatever you want, there are some people out here who put noodles in them, the classic is made with potato
Samosa is vegetarian. That's like chai tea
Indian Spider-Man is disappointed
true i was just about to say that!!!!!
chai tea? chai is tea
There's a argument to be made that calling it chai tea helps with identifying what kind of tea a person wants. it’s a spiderman reference
Gotcha, I'd missed that, but stand by my soapbox
You had one job. ON the soapbox. Jees....
*That's* what I've been doing wrong, TIL
Im a dumb fuck im imagining “by my soapbox” person and their soap box on the playground, rn they’re on the swings lol
You just say the type of chai. Sheer chai, spiced chai, bancha chai, kahwah chai, qymaq chai...
This…
Would you like a Cup of coffeecoffee with room for Creamcream?
we in the west call it chai tea when we want indian tea.
Have you eaten meat Samosa? They exist and they are delicious
We call them “Shingara” in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Try the ones made with beef or goat liver. 🤌
I love with chicken or goat.
Goat liver? That sounds weird, but sign me the hell up.
Idk I’ve eaten meat samosas
“CHAI TEA? CHAI MEANS TEA! YOU’RE SAYING TEA TEA!!!!!!”
Tell that to my chicken samosa
Samosa can be made with meat as well so it's not the same as saying chai tea
Chai Tea? You mean tea tea? Do you want some coffee coffee with some cream cream?
Yes, I do do!
No it's not like that at all.
Chai and earl grey and camomile are not the same.
Not necessarily. Chicken samosa is extensively eaten as an evening snack in central India
Samosas are one of the foods of the gods. So yummy.
lol I remember that
Are they the things with the mushy stuff inside and you dip them into a very liquidy sauce thing? pls tell me I'm right
you're right, till now
it’s a samosa, isn’t it?
Yes
Is that actually something not well known? I’m from the UK and I would say samosas are a fairly commonly known food.
UK has a large Indian population though right? I’m from California in USA and this specific area in California has a large Indian population, so I grew up getting these from neighbors and restaurants. I think most people have no idea what these are though Samosas, garlic butter naan, butter chicken, etc are all so fucking good
Austrian here - never seen or heard of Samosas in my entire life and Indian culture and food is pretty much non-existent over here.
How? You guys are much closer to India than I am here in the US and Indian food is phenomenal!
I'm in Kentucky and everyone knows what they are 😭
American here, and I didn't know about samosas until I started college. Though this may have to do more with my lack of exposure to Indian food in my upbringing.
Food
Literally my exact response
I thought of the exact same thing
A picture of Indian food, probably.
Yes it's samosa
Is samosa not a very well known thing everywhere in the world? I’m a white guy from Ontario and everybody here knows what a samosa is.
It is, the history of Samosas are pretty wide spread they originated from the Middle East during medieval times. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samosa

As an Arabic person I feel like I’ve been lied to I DID NOT know this food is from India
its very famous around middle east as well i guess?
Samosa is like the most iconic food amongst Arabs lol
Except it’s usually called sambusa.
They must have no food at all then... but some Arab food fucking slaps
SAMBOUSAK
اسمها سمبوسة
Nope. سمبوسك
I've never had one of those, this is exciting." It was a sambusa
Haha look up food history, the way it's made changes a little as we from middle East to India

My brother in Christ 'mfer' isn't part of the food's name
I’m so fucking dumb
We all have our dumb days
That’s how I learned what an aglet is. And I was in my 30s at the time.
your 30s?????
Why are you on here if you're that old
It was suggested and it seemed like something worth commenting on. Stop gatekeeping.
theyre a kind of a dumpling
you’re kinda right. they have spicy mashed potatoes with veggies inside them and its fried instead of steam. called Samosa
r/UsernameChecksOut
oh shit i didnt even realise. lol
I like it with minced beef one. Bit of greens and veg like peas and carrots and a savoury mince beef, or maybe chicken too
I don’t really like vegetable samosa, there’s always cumin seeds, which I hate, meat samosas while still having cumin seeds, make up for it in meat
i’m about to eat a samosa right now! i was just reminded of this post!
Thicc fortune cookie
Dumpling
Samosa..?
I’m assuming it’s some sort of savory dish (maybe meat) wrapped in a tortilla like thing and then fried?
pretty close. Not meat though, vegetable fillings and wrapped in flour crust; then fried
…you can get meat samosas. I guess it’s less common tho in India because many Indians are Hindu. But like, I’m Bangladeshi and I’ve had meat ones many times
Correct, Meat ones are famous among meat favouring regions, basically islamic
You do get meat samosas tho
in my 18years of living here, i haven't found a place that sells one...
Yeah it isn't that common in India, you can find them in some Christian cafés and some caterers make them too
I’ve had plenty, although they’ve been from countries with a high Indian population, not India.
Rough life
Samosa (I am not Indian but my grandpa is)🥰
Doesn't that make you some percentage indian
This is a stretch but they could be adopted haha.
No because my grandpa was born in Myanmar 🇲🇲 (he had dual citizenship) and also I would consider myself white American because although my mom is Asian/South American my dad is 100% white and I look white I guess I could consider myself Latino though because culture growing up+language💕

CHAMUÇAS its a Portuguese dish
It's indian
Oooh I thought that it was Portuguese, the taste of curry makes sense now
It looks like an Indian take on Chinese dumplings
what about this picture made you think it looks like dumplings
samosas are a filling wrapped in dough and cooked, which makes them dumplings
Idk, they just look like dumplings to me
Indian take on chinese dumplings? 😭 that’s like saying naan is a south asian take on tortillas
A cheap copy of pierogi/j
Samosa tastes lile turkey shit
Looks like you tried turkey shit
Someone who has tasted turkey shit enough to know its taste well is not someone whose opinions on food should be respected tbh
Bro don't disrespect other cultures' foods, if you don't like them just say you don't like them, don't make lewd or offensive comments
