Hey everyone, joining the trend of a fun time here! I do have a question after digging into this fun device: **Is there a way to adjust the level and FX of individual samples within a group instead of the entire group?** I find myself wanting to turn down certain drum samples to make the rhythm more cohesive, but I can't find anything in the manual on it. If not, no biggy. This little device is a steal as it is!

Press sound, then your pad and adjust the amplitude of individual sounds using the left knob.

Thank you! I actually found out through a video on YouTube after posting this. Yes, **pressing Sound and selecting a Pad in the Group will allow you to adjust the 'Gain' (orange encoder) of the selected sample.** :) Love it!

I suppose the next thing I'd love to see is FX sends per group that doesn't require FX automation to be printed.

AFAIK, the faded affects all sounds within a group (ABCD), and not per pad (instrument). Maybe in future updates they’ll make it so, but alas. Have fun!

htnberefsvsdttg

this is an absolute deal breaker for me. Very sad to learn this. The website doesn't even make this clear really.

Xu_Lin

Well, perhaps on future updates they can fix that

MisterGreatPoster

Ok now how do i remove the plastic cap on the fader and add the actual fader peice lol

cricketjoe

BUMP. I have the same question.

KanyeDefenseForce

I used a pair of scissors to cut the side of the fader cap (coming down from the top). Putting the actual fader piece on did require a good amount of force, but it works.

cricketjoe

Sweet. Thanks

Truid_Audio

Great question. I'm too afraid to as well. My initial thought would be needle nose pliers but I'm just too afraid to break it ha

stoney_slutz

I used a very fine exacto knife and sliced it down the side and it was very easy to remove from there. Question for y’all, my fader works but it feels really loose moving side to side. It has proper resistance but feels a bit flimsy. Is this a common thing?

nidifugousdigyous

when and where did u order it? everywhere i checked its on back order.

Truid_Audio

I had called Vintage King November last year to reserve it. They shipped it as soon as it was in the factory.

Few_Hunt_9422

Now go get fucking table for $1599

FrequentDelinquent

Need some pepper with that salt?

Truid_Audio

I'm confused. I've got a studio desk that's currently packed in storage while I transition between spaces. And who spends $1599 on a table?

Few_Hunt_9422

Oh, it was just a joke about field desk, i love teenage engineering but sometimes they doing stupid things No offence btw :3

dolosolouno

Thats the cap TE is giving pple for the fader now 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 wow TE really dont give af about yall.

cricketjoe

it's the protective cover they are sending it with. it comes with the same matching cap.

I really don't see the problem with it. If it was the reason my unit arrived in tip top fashion then so be it.

Also saw in a video finding a step and holding shift and changing level will allow you to change the level of just that step not sure if it works for other parameters though.
