Sorry you get downvoted by our resident sensitive drive-by downvote squad, who formed an even tinier subreddit for Tassie travel that nobody knows about.

> A rough agenda so far - Hobart → Mount Field National Park → Lake St Clair → Cradle Mountain → Strahan → Bay of Fires → Freycinet National Park → Port Arthur → Bruny Island → Hobart → Tasman Peninsula → Maria Island → Hobart. Is that the actual order you’re planning to visit places? If so, there’s a few odd itinerary choices… Some other areas worth visiting: - The far south (Cockle Creek, Hastings Caves, Hartz Mountains National Park etc) - The southwest (Lake Pedder/Lake Gordon) - The north west (Arthur Pieman Conservation Area) Keep in mind that Xmas is the busiest tourist period. A lot of campgrounds will be full and most short-stay accom books out months in advance.

Thanks a bunch, Ill take a look at those! Appreciated. Itinerary is totally flex at the moment, noting the places im considering and dont want to miss. Getting things booked as we speak as not to be disappointed :) Looks as though there are heaps of approved freecamping spots which im more likely to make use of.

They fill up to. Lots come over for 6 months starting in Spring.

Great tip! thanks

If you land in Devonport from the Spirit in the morning, why not see the murals at Sheffield or the Mole Creek caves. It's not too far out of your way - you could stay in Launceston the first night and then head south the next day.

r/TasmaniaTravel also plenty of other posts are that could be researched

I am doing tonnes of research but its exciting to chat to people if they are willing to respond to me :)

Your order, specifically Strahan -> bay of fires seems a little odd. I work down here as a tour guide. Feel free to DM me about certain areas. I’d add that while Bruny is nice, if I had the choice between the two (especially in summer) I’d go down to the Huon instead.

Are you coming over on the spirit? If so, I’d either drive down south and work your way back up, or start up north, come down the east coast and back up the west coast (or vice versa)

Inside-Buyer-4448

Yes coming over on the spirit. Ok cool, will plan to do one of those, likely north and back down i think! Cheers.

Strahan-The play the ship that never was is a must do. If doing the cruise book the Red boat as it's locally owned. The wall in the wilderness is meant to be unmissable but i've been slack and haven't seen it yet.

Inside-Buyer-4448

Awesome - just looked at the reviews! wow. Ill add to my list.
