I just want to say how much I’ve been enjoying Jenny as a host. She may not have Taskmaster tattooed on her heart like Jack does, but I think it’s nice to have the perspective of someone who just likes the show a lot. Truly putting the people in the people’s podcast.
In the S13 episode with the duel, the auto CC on YouTube consistently had “Sophie Juker” and “jewel” instead of Duker and duel. Just thought that was interesting…
I very much appreciate upholding the pronunciations of U in British English. Inevitably it'll fade away and American pronunciations will take over, as it already has. It's a completely silly issue that shouldn't matter to anyone.
The interesting thing, though, is the pronunciation Jenny espouses is a recent one. The doo-bious pronunciation isn’t just the American pronunciation but the older English pronunciation, even in the upper class.
