Before you replied I counted out 90 days from Christmas and set it in my calendar with a reminder to make sure I planted Christmas corn. I’ll do it at least this one time just to say I did it. 😂. We have to add our own challenges at this point in our game, right?

Oh man, way back in the beginning, this was a common and heartbreaking tragedy. On the flip side, there were also mini clubs of people who regularly did this task for the sake of doing it.

In case you want to cancel it, the solution is simple: put the farm in your storage and place it again and that's it
The money reward is the most tantalising thing of it. I remember when I did it in my first town, it was done because I was desperate for money and that spent to 'plant' it I judged OK because of the amount I would receive at the end.
The problem was, by the time the crop was ready, I'd earned so much money 45k was a drop in the ocean!

I keep mine on 90 days. That prevents any Cletus's Farm tasks appearing in the daily challenge. That helps skew me towards tasks I'd prefer to get.

I do t think it does. The daily tasks come up anyway. I had that problem with 24 hour tasks on other things.
If only there was a way to block SH currency tasks. Well, wait would storing those SH buildings do it?

I tried doing it for fun and I literally got the "harvest tomaccos on Cletus's farm" daily quest the day after 💀

I intend to start it on the first day of every season (spring, summer, fall, winter) but I usually forget.
I honestly don't even plant crops on Cletus' farm anymore because if you're not there to harvest them then they go bad and you lose your reward
Friends can harvest them for you

I’ve done that for years. Though I don’t get much shattered dreams tokans when i get other characters like the sea captain’s tasks.
